<div>Nathan sustained a serious brain injury while playing the game he loves, and he is currently receiving end of life care. As his family remains by his side during this incredibly difficult time, we want to do everything we can to help ease the financial pressures they are facing.

Supporting the Fitzgerald Family

<br />We have started this page to raise money for our friend Jason Nelson (Flappers) and his family. Jason was assaulted when he was younger and sustained a head injury. While he seemingly recovered well initially, in recent times he has been suffering from seizures that are a result of scar tissue on the brain from this earlier head injury.<br /><br />Jason is undergoing treatment for this, but the seizures mean that Jason is unable to drive or operate his maintenance plumbing business.<br /><br />Flappers’ business financially supports his partner, Jade and their 4 children (3 under the age 6). The family is reliant on this income and we can only imagine what the worry and stress of not having it could be causing them at a time when they should be focusing on Jason’s health and their family.<br /><br />All donations big and small, will be cherished and much appreciated from everyone who donates.<br /><br />Let's hope it brings a smile to flaps face as he has done for all of us over the years.<br /><br />This fundraiser has been created by Jason's friends and is not intended to be shared on social media for the general public to see, so please don't share it on facebook. <br /><br />Thank you.

<p>On 24 December 2020 Rhianna, Boof (David) and Jackson tragically lost their son and <br />brother, Kobi following a severe stroke. <br /><br />Everyone who knew and loved Kobi knew <br />what meant the most to him, family, his friends and footy. <br /><br />He brightened every room he walked in to, he was the life of the party and the cheekiest kid we knew from the time he could talk. <br /><br />Kobi would do anything for anyone, he had a <br />massive heart and wanted the best for <br />everyone<br /><br />Kobi was a loyal, respectful and dedicated <br />footballer at each of the clubs he represented; The Pioneers, BJFL, Central Vic Academy, <br />Strathfieldsaye and Eaglehawk.<br /><br />On Christmas Day Kobi was able to give the <br />greatest gift of all to several families and offer his vital organs to save others lives or <br />drastically give them a better quality of life.<br /><br />We are all heartbroken and devastated at this time. <br /><br />We have created this page for anyone who <br />wants to help support Rhi, Boof and Jacko <br />during this difficult time. Whether it’s to help give Kobi the goodbye he so greatly deserves, a memorial site in the future or some sort of <br />legacy for Kobi, we will leave that decision for them when the time is right. <br /><br />We know Kobi has impacted so many lives in <br />his short 16 years so if you are struggling <br />please make sure you reach out and get <br />support from your family and friends. <br /><br />The family will provide funeral details once <br />arrangements have been made. <br /><br />Rhi, Boof and Jacko have asked us to pass on <br />their appreciation for the outpouring support <br />they have received over the past few days. <br /><br />Fly high Kobe’s <br /><br />Regards,<br />the Hall and Baxter families ♥️
