My name is Alex, I don't have some fancy origin story about falling in love with Porsches as a kid. The truth is simpler – I've always admired them from afar, and now that I'm finally in a position where owning one doesn't seem completely impossible, I can't stop thinking about it. I've worked my way through university, built my career in tech, and saved what I can. But like most people, life keeps happening – rent, unexpected expenses. Every time I think I'm getting close to Porsche money, reality reminds me I'm not quite there yet. I'm not looking for a handout or trying to pull heartstrings with some elaborate backstory. I'm just being direct: if you have a Porsche that's not getting the attention it deserves, or you're looking to upgrade and want to make someone's year instead of just trading it in, I'm your person. Maybe you have a Porsche sitting in your garage that doesn't get driven enough. Maybe you're upgrading to something newer and want to make someone genuinely happy instead of just dealing with dealers and trade-in values. So here's my unconventional approach: I'm asking the internet. Maybe someone out there has a Porsche 911 or Boxster convertible (max 6 years old, left-hand drive, EU or US delivery) that they're thinking of upgrading from. Maybe someone believes in random acts of automotive kindness. Maybe someone just likes the audacity of this whole thing. I know it's a long shot. I know it sounds crazy. But you know what else sounded crazy? The idea that strangers on the internet would fund potato salad to the tune of $55,000, or that someone would buy a tweet for $2.9 million. The internet has shown us that unexpected things happen when you put yourself out there with genuine intent. Sometimes the most honest approach is simply asking.
