PHOTON

Hello, we are PHOTON! A team comprised of 6 and based in Royal Grammar School Newcastle from the North East of England. We are starting our new journey and competing in the F1 Stem Racing schools competition. We aim to achieve top spots through regionals and nationals… making it to the STEM Racing World Finals! The competition involves the team to have assigned roles for each individual and are made to develop a car that is able to compete in events. They race against other teams who are judged and scored based on performance. The team must also need to take leadership in designing, branding, testing, sponsoring and assuring that the project runs smoothly with minimal help. These all predict the outcome to the final score and can determine the place to nationals and World Finals. We started our path in 2022, where we accomplished nationals twice but unfortunately did not qualify for Worlds. However, the team are working diligently and are even more determined from our losses. The past failures have helped us grow so we can drive further on the heated track, and achieve the trophy to Finals! By helping and funding to fuel our team’s growth, we can achieve the gold medal together. Thank you for supporting us, PHOTON.
