With broken hearts, we share the loss of our 13-year-old son, Noah, who passed away after complications from seizures at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.

Noah was a bright, loving child whose presence brought joy to everyone around him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and his smile could light up any room. Our family is facing unimaginable pain as we try to navigate life without him. The suddenness of his passing has left us not only grieving, but also struggling to cover the unexpected costs that come with saying goodbye.

We are asking for help with funeral and memorial expenses. We have created a GoFundMe for anyone who would like to support our family during this difficult time. The funds raised will help cover funeral costs, memorial arrangements, and other expenses as we honor Noah's memory and support our family through this loss. Your kindness and generosity will make a meaningful difference as we come together to remember Noah and help our family heal.

My name is Katie Fox and I am an independent filmmaker in the Pacific Northwest. My next project is a contemporary dance short film inspired by the love story of Hamlet and Ophelia. Set in a stark, industrial world of cool blues and greens, the film uses intimate partnering and haunting music by CocoRosie and Antony and the Johnsons to explore love, loss, and emotional fracture.

This is not a traditional adaptation. It is a sensory experience — a collision of classical literature, contemporary dance, and stark cinematic design — created to feel immediate, uncomfortable, and deeply intimate. At its heart, the film asks: What happens when love exists inside a world that cannot sustain it?

By supporting this project, you’re helping bring a bold, physically driven piece of storytelling to life — one that honors Shakespeare’s emotional truth while reimagining it through movement, music, and modern cinematic language.
