I am asking for help as my household and I face an ongoing HOA dispute that has deeply affected our ability to enjoy peace and quiet in our home. After an upstairs flooring renovation, we began experiencing excessive impact noise and structural squeaking that we believe are connected to the work that was done. The renovation involved extensive subfloor grinding and the installation of vinyl flooring without proper underlayment. Since then, daily life at home has become stressful and disruptive, and the quiet enjoyment of our living space has been substantially affected. We raised our concerns and hoped for a careful, professional review. Instead, the HOA conducted only a limited review, concluded that the noise was normal, and closed the case without a full investigation. That has left us in a difficult position. In order to pursue a fair resolution, we now need legal support and other professional help, which comes with significant costs.
