Hello everyone, My name is Jobell and I am helping Deeanna George organize a go fund me page and support her as much as possible. I’ve always tried to be strong for my family, but right now she is overwhelmed and needs some help to get through this. Over the past year, our family has faced a series of heartbreaking challenges. My mom has been battling chronic kidney disease and is undergoing dialysis three times a week at the Fresenius center. The treatments leave her feeling weak, dizzy, and exhausted. She still works six days a week to make ends meet, but on the days she can’t drive, I take her to and from work to make sure she gets there safely. Her doctors and the transplant team have told us that she needs a living kidney donor, which has been emotionally and physically draining for all of us. As if that weren’t enough, my youngest sister recently suffered a severe mental health crisis and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It’s been incredibly painful to watch her struggle through manic episodes without consistent treatment. Because she’s an adult, she has to make her own medical decisions, which has made it difficult for us to get her the care she truly needs. We are hoping to start the process of obtaining conservatorship so we can make sure she receives the proper medical support and stability she deserves. On top of all this, Deeanna is currently on a leave of absence from work due to medical issues of my own. Between her health, my mom’s condition, and my sister’s situation, the emotional and financial weight has become overwhelming. She is trying her best to stay strong, but she’s struggling to cover attorney fees and essential living costs while keeping our family afloat.
