Paws of UA is proud to support All The Dogs AL Rescue and the dogs they save from Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. This fundraiser is specifically dedicated to helping provide medical care and support for the Metro dogs who are pulled by All The Dogs AL Rescue and given a second chance at life. Every day, dogs at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter face the possibility of euthanasia. All The Dogs AL Rescue steps in to save many of these dogs, giving them the opportunity to leave the shelter, receive the care they need, and eventually find loving forever homes. But getting a dog out of the shelter is only the beginning. Many of these dogs need significant medical care, including vaccinations, heartworm treatment, surgeries, medications, and other veterinary services. They also require food, boarding, and continued care while they recover and wait for adoption. Your donation can help make that second chance possible. Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go toward the medical care and needs of dogs rescued from Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter through All The Dogs AL Rescue. These are dogs who may have otherwise never made it out of the shelter. Some are sick, injured, scared, or simply overlooked. They deserve the chance to heal, feel safe, and experience the love of a family. Every dog deserves the chance to be healthy, safe, and loved. Unfortunately, many dogs at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter (TMAS) need medical care and support that they may not be able to receive without help. All The Dogs works to change that. They pull dogs from TMAS who need extra help and provide them with the treatment, care, and time they need to have a second chance at life. This can include vaccinations, heartworm treatment, surgeries, spay and neuter procedures, boarding, food, medications, and everyday care while they wait for their forever homes. Right now, Bitsy still needs help completing her heartworm treatment after being pulled from TMAS. Heartworm treatment is expensive, but it is necessary to give her the healthy future she deserves.  Evie, a sweet 3-month-old puppy, also needs our help. She needs her vaccinations to protect her from preventable illnesses and will need to be spayed as she gets older. She is just beginning her life, and we want to make sure she gets the healthy start she deserves.  And they aren’t the only ones. Your donation will also help support the many other dogs All The Dogs has pulled from TMAS, including Bonnet, Rhea, Gabe, and so many others. Even after a dog leaves the shelter, the expenses don’t stop. Boarding, food, medications, veterinary appointments, treatments, and basic care all add up quickly.  These dogs didn’t choose to end up in a shelter. They didn’t choose to become sick, need surgery, or require expensive treatment. Meet Wilbur, a sweet 6-month-old puppy who deserves a chance to finally be healthy and loved. Wilbur came to TMAS as a tiny, bottle-fed baby and was fortunate enough to grow up in a foster home instead of the shelter. Unfortunately, as his skin condition worsened, his foster was no longer able to care for his medical needs, and Wilbur had to return to the shelter. Despite everything he's been through, Wilbur has remained the happiest, sweetest puppy. He loves everyone he meets and has never let his circumstances change his loving spirit. Now, All The Dogs AL Rescue has stepped up to give Wilbur the future he deserves—but we need your help to make it happen. Wilbur is suffering from a severe skin condition that has left him uncomfortable and in need of immediate veterinary care. We don't yet know exactly what is causing it, but he has a veterinary appointment scheduled for **Monday** where he will undergo an examination, diagnostics, and begin treatment. His medical care is estimated to cost around $2,500. Your donation will help cover the cost of pulling Wilbur from TMAS, getting him safely into rescue, and providing the veterinary care he urgently needs. Every dollar brings him one step closer to relief from the pain and discomfort he's been living with. At just six months old, Wilbur should be spending his days chasing toys, making friends, and discovering the world—not battling an unknown medical condition. Meet Rhea, a sweet 4-year-old girl currently at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. She has a kind and gentle heart, and she’s ready for a second chance. The wonderful team at All The Dogs AL Rescue is planning to pull Rhea from the shelter next week, but before she can begin her new life, she needs treatment for heartworm disease. Heartworm is treatable, but the treatment is expensive, and the rescue needs help covering the cost before they can bring her into their care. Every dollar donated will go directly toward Rhea’s heartworm treatment and the veterinary care she needs to start fresh. With your support, Rhea can leave the shelter behind, receive the medical care she deserves, and begin her journey toward a loving forever home. Meet Melody. Melody is currently at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, and despite everything she has been through, she continues to show nothing but love and resilience. A rescue, All the Dogs Rescue, wants to pull Melody and give her the second chance she deserves — but they cannot do it without help. Melody is heartworm positive, has a tumor on her abdomen that urgently needs to be removed, and is suffering from an injured paw that requires treatment. Her medical care is estimated to cost at least $1,500, and without these funds, the rescue cannot move forward with saving her. If Melody is unable to go to rescue and receive the medical care she needs, she may face euthanasia. She deserves so much more than that. Melody deserves comfort, treatment, and the opportunity to finally know what it feels like to be safe and loved.
