<div>Hi, my name is Shannon Bryant and I’m creating this page for my daughter, Willow Kobriger. On November 7th, 2025 Willow was in a very serious car accident that left her in critical condition. She is currently in a coma, we’re taking things one day at a time, trusting in her strength and resilience and making every effort to #wakeupwillow
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Willow is a 2025 graduate of West Iron County High School, where she was active in the cheerleading and track teams. This fall was her first semester at Bay College where she’s a dedicated member of the Cross Country team. Working out has always been one of her passions, reflective of her determination and energy. Beyond this, Willow is loved by so many for her big heart, beautiful spirit and all around fun-loving nature. Willow loves music and dancing, she was constantly bopping and singing around the house. She is inquisitive and adventurous, if someone told her something wasn't possible guaranteed she would accept that as a challenge! Fun fact, an Iron County Wykon H.S. alumni wrote a song and personally asked Willow to lip sync this at the graduation ceremony, this was just a true testament to that my daughter could liven and brighten any occasion by just by being herself and live in the moment carefree of what others may think. Here is that video if you need a smile today. <a href="https://youtube.com/shorts/owJ1hUXBN14" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://youtube.com/shorts/owJ1hUXBN14" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtube.com/shorts/owJ1hUXBN14</a></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our family has been staying close to the hospital, which is several hours from home. As you can imagine, the travel, meals, and lodging expenses are adding up quickly. We don’t know how long Willow’s recovery will take, but we will continue to be by her side every step of the way to see her through this and get her home! While we do not yet know the full extent of her injuries, we are continuing to be optimistic in the signs that Willow is able to show us. Recovery will be long, she has several broken bones including a spinal injury, she will most-likely need to re-learn how to walk and talk and that is just the beginning of the challenges she faces ahead. So many people have reached out asking how they can help. If you feel led to do so, any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping our family stay near Willow and support her through this long road ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are humbly and deeply grateful for your continued prayers, love, and kindness. Please continue to keep Willow in your thoughts and prayers. Share this page to help spread the word.

Support Willow Kobriger's Road to Recovery

<div>"Mama Lynn, a beacon of love and generosity, touched the lives of many as a giver, lover, and caretaker. Her presence could brighten any room. Tragically, her vibrant life was cut short by a careless driver. In a selfless act during the accident, she fought to protect her grandchild, who is now bravely fighting for recovery. As we mourn the loss of this remarkable soul, let's honor Mama Lynn's legacy by coming together to support her family in laying her to rest with the dignity she deserves. Just as Mama Lynn would tirelessly extend a helping hand to those in need, let's join forces to give her the farewell she so richly deserves."

<div>Where do you start when you don't know what to say?
</div>
<div>At the beginning I guess...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On August 14th, 2023, Gabby and Justin woke up to a rainy day in Wisconsin, much like we all did. The day started like any other day: Justin goes to work, Aiden goes to daycare, and Gabby works tirelessly on the house, getting it ready for baby #2 while on her summer break from school where she also works tirelessly as a special education teacher. As many of us say goodbye to our loved ones going out the door in the morning, we always know we will see them when they get back home at the end of the work day: a goodbye kiss, an 'I love you', and a 'see you later' and they're out the door. We never think about whether that would be the last time we say those words...and hear theirs. These were things Gabby worried about while Justin served in the United States Army through two tours overseas, both in Afghanistan. Worrying about losing her husband wasn't something that went through her head every day like it had before.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At 4:30 that afternoon, when Justin was bringing Aiden home from daycare - both of them excited to come home - tragedy hit. That morning would be the last time Gabby spoke with Justin. As Justin was driving southbound on Interstate 43 near Highway 23 in Sheboygan, he lost control of the vehicle and was struck by a semi. Aiden, their son, only sustained minor injuries while Justin's were, unfortunately, fatal. Imagine the shock Gabby got when instead of a 'What's for dinner?' call, she received another.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a mother, your thoughts go directly to your children: What will I say to him, he's only 3?! How will I pay my mortgage on one income? How will I afford to take my maternity leave if I cannot count on a second income to support us at that time? How will I pay hospital bills for Aiden? How will I pay hospital bills for our new baby in October? How will I go back to work and be a single mom of two children?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's hard to ask for help no matter who you are or what you are going through.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are creating this account for Gabby and her family. The hope is that this account will help answer some of those questions for her.
</div>
<div>Yes, this account can help support two children.
</div>
<div>Yes, this account can help with hospital bills.
</div>
<div>Yes, this account can help pay for the mortgage and other living expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Along with the unending chain of prayers Gabby, her family, and Justin's family are receiving, we hope this fund will also help ease the anxiety of these questions and help Gabby focus on taking care of herself and raising her beautiful kids the best she can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read about how you can help a growing family in great need.

<div>Hi. My name is Eric, and my brother Jeff needs help.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Through a series of incredibly tragic events, Jeff lost his 8 year old son, Oliver, and became a single dad of his other son, 11 year old Leo. Jeff is a hard-working man who loves his family and works as an over the road truck driver.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Any single parent knows that caring for a child on their own is no easy task, so the added burden of grieving over the sudden and tragic loss of a child while staying strong for his son creates an exponential burden.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Your donations will help Jeff and Leo through the most difficult days, weeks and months ahead as they begin to cope with a life that has been turned upside-down by a senseless act of violence.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div><span>Please help Jeff and Leo! Your donation will help them navigate this very difficult road they have ahead of them.  Any amount helps. Thank you and God bless you.</span><br />

In Loving Memory of Oliver

<div>Hi. I’m setting this up for my sister Lori Miller . On 2/8/22 she got the the worst news possible she sent her son Zach Benson to school that morning and received news that her 15 year old son had drowned in the school swimming pool during swim class. No parent expects the news that their child will not be coming home from school ever again. This was tragic and unexpected. I’m trying to help her raise funds for funeral and legal expenses. She’s a hard working mother of 2 and this is going to be hard for her family emotionally and financially. Go fund me asked to set a dollar amount and I have no idea the costs of a funeral or legal fees that will rack up. Any help will be appreciated.

Help with funeral and lawyer expenses

For those of you who don't know Vivian, she is the most beautiful 7 week old baby, fighting a very hard battle against Chiari.  Baby Vivian is the third child to Clay and Sarah and a Baby Sister to Brother Samuel (6 yrs.)  and Sister Lillyana (13 mos.).<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/2314677_1413486880.4602_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />At 18 weeks gestation, ultrasounds found that Vivian had major brain abnormalities and was then considered a high risk baby.  After a couple months of testing they found what they thought was a Chiari Malformation.  Chiari is a congenitial neurological disorder and extremely under researched with no cure.  It causes the brain to fall to the back of the skull and put pressure on the spinal cord, and it affects people in many different ways.  It usually does not develop until later in life but in Vivian's case, it began to develop as she was developing in-utero.  Doctors could not give  any definitive answers on how the Malformation would affect her long term, but assured her parents that most people who did have Chiari were asymptomatic or didn't show symptoms until they grew older.  <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/2314677_1413557310.6519_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />After a long and scary pregnancy and traumatic delivery, Baby Vivian was born on August 23rd, 2014 weighing 5 lbs. 6 oz. and 20 in. long.  She was taken to the NICU, with Daddy by her side, for monitoring because she was having extreme difficulty breathing.  It was also observed that she was having difficulty swallowing making her unable to eat by mouth (she was then fed by ng tube), and cried without making any sound.  A bronch showed that Vivian had vocal cord paralysis and an MRI of her brain confirmed that she had Chiari 1.5 Malformation.  She had surgery on the lower portion of her brain and upper spinal cord at 5 days old.  Neurosurgeons did all they could to relieve the pressure, but found that the back portion of her brain stem either never fully developed or is too far damaged.  Her brain surgery did not fix her vocal cords and she still did not have the ability to safely breathe on her own.  After struggling while being on high flow oxygen and even while being intubated, she underwent another surgery at 19 days old to have a tracheostomy and a permanent feeding tube put in place.  Things seemed to be progressing well, but Vivian had a bit of a set back after the first few days.  She was having many apnic episodes while she was asleep.  A sleep study was done and observed that she had 806 apnic episodes in a 5 hour period.  She is now on a ventilator and not able to come home until she weighs 11 lbs.  (at two months old she weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz.).  Although her apnic episodes have decreased by the hundreds, she is still having  episodes and 2-3 a day are so severe that they require manual resuscitation.  Doctors are unsure of the cause and have been monitoring her closely.  She has a very long road ahead with many special needs requiring her parents full attention just for her trach, not to mention the challenges Vivian faces from the Chiari Malformation.  <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/2314677_1413487118.693_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Our family has set up this fund to help Vivian's parents with the financial burdens of having a baby in the hospital and the special care and needs Vivian will need once she is able to come home.  Her parents are traveling to and from Children's hospital 2-3 times a day to spend as much time with her as possible, while still taking care of Samuel and Lillyana. Sarah has had to quit her job in order to give Vivian the full attention she will need once she comes home and have the ability to spend more time at the hospital with her until then.  Clay has also had to cut back on hours at work the past couple months to spend time at the hospital and at home with Sam and Lilly.  Once home Vivian will need nursing at least 5 days a week, 8-10 hours a day (maybe more now that she is on a ventilator).  They have been having a difficult time finding available nurses that are able to case manage and are vent certified, and may need to look for other options for nursing that might not be covered by insurance, as well as the expenses for some medical supplies and equipment that are not covered.  Most importantly, Clay and Sarah have been in touch with a Neurosurgeon from the Chiari Institute of New York, in hopes that he would be able to help their little miracle with the challenges that lie ahead.  They were referred to a Neurosurgeon in Madison, who is one of the best Pediatric Neurosurgeons in the country, and are waiting on word that he is willing to take on Vivian's case.  If he agrees, they will have the expenses of  consultations and possible surgeries that will not be covered by their insurance, travel, hotel, and nursing for transporting Vivian, to get her the care she will need to fight through this debilitating disorder.  <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/2314677_1413487183.5964_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Clay, Sarah, Samuel, Lillyana, and especially Vivian have been through so much and we want to do whatever we can to help them get through all of the burdens that such a situation creates.  If you are unable to donate money, please donate your prayers and share her story.  This little girl needs all of the support that we have to offer.  She has not given up and still smiles through all of her pain and suffering.  Chiari does not have a cure and she will be fighting this battle for the rest of her life. <strong><br /><br /></strong><strong>PLEASE HELP BABY VIVIAN CONQUER CHIARI!</strong><br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/2314677_1413486628.6165_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />
