2026 at Saint Eugene Cathedral.
All are welcome ❤️
I want to thank everybody who is so generously helped our family out. We’re almost there. We’re almost at the finish line. We celebrate at 36 years together on July 28. We let our wedding candle at 37th time. Here in our bedroom while she was still walking and talking. She fought the good fight. She tried really hard. Got her last day. When the nurses and she hadn’t urinated in a couple days, they were able to get her comfortable by extracting a lot. And after that, she seemed quite comfortable. And her childhood. We’re here four of them. And my older daughters. My older daughter saying chamber singers and the concert chorus. I think is the name of it then at Santa Rosa high school they graduated 2010 in 2012. And were able to sing together. My wife and I and her friends in 1984 at Santa Rosa high school also saying concert courses and chamber singers. My wife, I believe saying chamber singers for three years. We were all singing to her we started with some Beatles. Here comes the sun. And moved on to other things and in the end, we sing a song that the Wailin Jennys. Sing called one voice. You should look it up on YouTube. It’s a beautiful song. When we started this song, my wife was breathing when we finished. She had peacefully passed away in the song. It was beautiful. No pain. No struggle just stopped. My sister-in-law was here so she called her daughter and my wife’s friends my daughters and my sister-in-law and her daughter cleaned up. My wife put clothes on her redid, the bed took her hair out of a beautiful braid that one of the home health aid when they washed her hair put it in. They put it around your shoulders and down, combed it out. My wife had the Silkies hair. Put a rosary in her hand, sat her up in the hospital bed a little bit. Then when I came in, she looked like she was sleeping.
People came the next day for viewing and spending time either in the house with her or outside telling stories. And the mortuary came and I escorted my wife off the property one last time.
And we’re almost there. She will be buried underneath her mother and father‘s headstone as I will later. She wanted to be close to her parents. And her father at 95 is still alive. He came many many days to visit with his daughter, who could not talk to him anymore.
Tomorrow we have a rosary and a funeral. And a gathering will say goodbye to my wife. Later will cremate her and later after that, we will bury her under that stone next to her mother as she wished. Up at Calvary here in Santa Rosa I said we’re almost to the end of this race. And I have so appreciated everybody’s help. If anybody reads this and it touches them, they could help a little bit more or a new help. I would really appreciate it. For those that truly cannot and I understand there’s been times in my wife and my wife where we couldn’t. Please pray for our family and for my wife. As she had always prayed for a peaceful death she got it. Thank you for reading this far and thank you for supporting us in any way you could.
