I have been wanting to start my own in home business of selling arts and crafts of various designs and textures that I have created. To do this, I have come to realize I need funds instead of only being able to save 20 to 40 dollars each week roughly after all the needs of family is met from my small cut of doordash tips. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to keep doing doordash because every little bit helps. It just gets hard to see how much I'm working and how high price tags are on all the things needed for the business I am trying to create. Costs include: Cost for subscriptions to things like a website, Facebook and Instagram ads. These build up the audience, traffic flow, options for sharing my inventory, ads that float around to targeted marketing groups, all of which help me get to a place of standing out and getting noticed. It helps me to build up a presence in social media. The cost of vendor licensing and rights to digital art files for me to create my own and share SVGs and attend pop ups or fairs and farmers markets, all adds up. I need things like minimum of 2 printers (one for infusible ink projects and orders and one for DTF printing projects to produce quality items). A point of sale system and cash register for cash exchange are vital for me to start attending markets, consignments, pop ups, and even online shopping in some ways, depending on the POS system I plan to use. There is also the cost of insurance and getting the business under an LLC to make it official, now professional even. The list can go on but these are the minimal I'm looking at. If anyone is willing to donate even just a bit of change, it would mean the world to me. I tried to start up right before covid, and with that, it was just a bust because I had to go back to work with my husband laid off. The time has come and it's actually a bit overdue. This time, I'm not letting anything stop me! Even if it takes a couple of years, my eye is on this goal! I would really appreciate the help if possible. A few bucks or a like and share is also very valuable! Any support is great and more helpful than you know. Doordash is ok but it's not safe and the most I've made is about $200.00, which after I buy odds and ends needed at home, or take kids for a small treat if good at school all week or I have to fuel up my gas cuz I've used it all, it turns to pocket change real fast. I've been able to put 20 to 40 back the last couple of weeks. I will not go into the dangers, especially in the area I live in, in doing doordash. I have swallowed much pride to decide to try to raise funds to get me were I need to be in order to start my sewing, crochet, cricut items to actually sell to provide for my family way better and to get this dream built, finally!
