Hello, I am a high school student who is in FFA as an officer and currently cannot get a job. I have always wanted to show an animal at either the county or state fair. The goat in the picture is the first ever goat I'm showing at county. Sadly, our county is a market, meaning he has to go to auction. I began working with him around the beginning of June and got attached to him. He is stubborn and possessive, but I love him nonetheless. I am raising the funds to buy him at auction. Yes, we can pay for his daily needs; this money is just for the auction as it is uncertain how much we will need to buy him. Of course, any funds left over or not used will go back into FFA and helping my county. All help is appreciated, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. As much as I hate to admit it, I cried thinking of him going to slaughter and it is my hope that this can be my first goat to build my standing in Agriculture. I am on a time limit, so I hope we can reach our goal around October 20th. Once again, thank you for your help. No matter if you share this or donate, everything is appreciated, and I wish I could show my appreciation better. I also am aware how this is a lot less serious than helping people with relief and everything so once again everything is appreciated, and I understand not wanting to donate.
