Hi, we are North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh. We have just held our second New Year's Day Community Ceilidh, and it was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who came and danced, watched and supported over the last two years. We are over the moon that our Community Ceilidh has now become a New Year's Day tradition for so many of you, and us! Our mission, from those very first discussions two years ago is to hold a free, family friendly outdoor community event accessible to everybody in our community. We are a self-funded event, and so in order to hold this for everyone and keep true to our mission of keeping it as a free event, we rely on donations and sponsorship. Even though we appear to be a small event, we need to pay for: The band, Staging, Toilets, Insurance and Signage, all of which comes to just under £4,000. We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, and to you the community for donating on the day and to our previous fundraiser which is still available to view. We have decided to open a new fundraiser for each Ceilidh, so if you are able please give what you can to secure next year's event. We can't wait to see you there! NBNYCC
