<div>Category 5 Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, leaving countless families without homes — including my grandmother and family, whose house was in the eye of the storm (St. Elizabeth).

<div>The roof was blown away, and everything inside was destroyed.

<div>This home has been in our family for generations — a place of laughter, prayer, and love — and now it needs our help to rise again.

<div>I’m organizing a fundraiser to help rebuild my grandmother’s home and replace the basic things she needs to live day by day.

<div>I’m sharing this screenshot from our family group chat to show how real this is for us right now. During the storm, my grandmother sent these words that broke our hearts:
