<div>Naomi, a recent graduate from the University of Denver, has been accepted into a prestigious one-year Master’s program at the University of Cambridge, starting in October 2025. Her passion for reproductive justice and healthcare access for women, especially those in the Black and brown diaspora, has shaped her academic and professional journey. As a dedicated community organizer, Naomi has already advocated for expanded healthcare access on the floor of the Colorado House and in neighborhoods across the state. These experiences have given her firsthand insight into the systemic disparities Black and brown women face in reproductive healthcare, fueling her commitment to this cause.

<div>At Cambridge, Naomi will deepen her research by studying how the Black and brown diaspora in the UK navigates reproductive justice in a political climate that, like the U.S., is increasingly hostile to gender equity and bodily autonomy. Her goal is to build bridges between activists and legal advocates in both countries, strengthening the global movement for reproductive freedom. Naomi’s long-term vision is to become a legal advocate for reproductive rights and bodily autonomy in underserved communities across the U.S., and this program is a crucial step toward that future.
