מימון סעודות חגים תשפ"ה בבית מדרש החיד"א

<div>With a heavy heart, I reach out to you today to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. My mother, Elizabeth Ogbueze, passed away on Mother’s Day after a courageous battle to recover from recurrent strokes. As I come to terms with the loss of my mom, I am faced with the daunting task of arranging her burial. I am her only child and only relative living in California, so in this moment I am truly in need of support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She fought hard to recover from three strokes while battling diabetes, arthritis, and early onset dementia. For the past several years, I have been her full time caregiver and we have faced these difficulties side by side. After suffering her first stroke in 2022, she required assistance with daily functions like showering, eating, taking medications, moving in and out of bed, and more. Because she has required such a high level of care the past two years, I have not been able to work full time and save money to prepare for a moment like this.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> I am asking for financial assistance as I aim to honor her final wish to be buried in her home country of Nigeria. It is a tradition in my culture for people from the Igbo tribe to be buried back home, and it would mean the world for me to be able to lay my mom to rest in a way she would truly want. Also because of the ever-rising costs of burial plots and funeral arrangements in the United States, it is more financially feasible to return her body to Nigeria.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your general contributions will go toward embalming, funeral services, the cost of the plane ticket to return her body back to Nigeria, and outstanding fees due to the mortuary that is facilitating her arrangements.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in ensuring that Elizabeth’s journey into eternity is marked with the love and respect she deserves. I understand that the goal is quite large, but donations of even $5-$10 dollars will go along way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m thankful to my community for their support, love, and well wishes during this difficult time. For those who are not able to donate in this moment, I urge you to share with your network and spread the word. Thank you all very much.

Help me go to yeshiva in Israel

I am raising money to help several dozen young children of Yosef Mizrachi and Yaron Reuven’s cult members with transferring from Public schools to yeshivos.<br /><br />These children, whose families attend to the Bucharian shuls in Queens, either<br /> cannot afford tuition,<br />while others have Secular-Traditional families who underestimate the value of yeshiva education, and are unwilling to pay unless if it is significantly or wholly subsidized.<br /><br /> By supporting this cause,
you are enabling these boys and girls to be immersed in environments which will teach them true Torah!<br /><font color="#333333"><br /></font> תזכו למצוות!

Hi, my name is Milana Kalinava and I am a senior at Valley Torah High School. I was born in Belarus and grew up in a non-religious alcoholic home. I was in the foster care system in Belarus before I came to Los Angeles in 10th grade to attend Valley Torah. I have become part of the Valley Torah family that took me in with open arms as well as the family that I stay by, but in reality, I am on my own in the world and don't have parents looking out for me. I grew so much in my learning of Torah and my connection with Hashem while in Los Angeles that I now want to move onto the next step. Seminary is a year filled with opportunities to grow and a time for every Bat Yisrael to be able to strengthen herself when it comes to serving Hashem. It's the most important year and gives every girl the proper tools and foundation for building a Jewish home.  Even though I come from a not religious background, I want to grow and be a better person. My dream is to go to Sharfmans Seminary in Israel and continue my journey. Unfortunately, I don't have the amount of money to pay for my dream and I have no other choice but to turn to the Jewish community and ask for help. Any size donation will help me bring my dream closer. If you can't donate, it is absolutely okay, but please share with others. Thank you so much! <br />-Milana

Rabbi Bentzion Klatzko's home suffered a fire on 10/28/2020. Anyone who knows Rabbi Klatzko or has been to his home knows what special people he and his Rebbetzen are. The Rabbi hosts dozens of  people for Shabbos nearly every week, asking nothing in return. His home is a home of mitzvos, Torah, joy, and comfort for all who come. Please donate to help with initial expenses for getting back off the ground so everyone who benefits from his ahavas Yisroel can soon experience it again.

Help Rabbi Klatzko Rebuild From Recent Fire

Imagine your eleven year old son begging you, "Mommy, I want to go to Yeshiva like my cousins." Imagine your son telling you that in his school they don't allow him to make Brachos. Imagine watching your daughter proudly getting her Chumash, and with tears in your eyes thinking that your son will never have one. Imagine looking around the big auditorium in your son's school at all the kids in his grade and realizing that not only is he the only Jewish child, he's also the only white child. My dear son, Sholom Henoch, was put into public school at the tender age of four. He's now eleven, in sixth grade, and in his third public school. At the age of three he was diagnosed with learning delays and Epilepsy, and he was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD at the age of 7. While there were Jewish special education classes in his school, he was too high for them, and the other schools were too expensive and/or too low or too high for his level. <br />Next year he has the amazing opportunity to attend the Ohr Vdaas/RISE program. It's a small class geared towards boys on his level with one to one teaching. They have Jewish subjects as well as focusing on his IEP needs. But... the cost isn't cheap. The school has agreed to significantly cut costs if we pay $14,000 up front. My son spent a little bit of time in the class to try it out, and he his is looking forward to next year.  I am reaching out to you, my amazing friends, to please step in and help a young boy fulfill his dreams. Please help us reach our goal to get my son into Yeshiva. Every dollar helps. Every share helps.
