Hey everyone, my name is Nala and I'm from New York. I've created this campaign on behalf of my friend Ibrahem Al-Kuwaifi who is a 26 year old father and football goalkeeper, and is currently situated in the North of Gaza with his wife, son and their large family. Ibrahem is pictured above (left) with his precious baby boy, Ismail (right). A message from Ibrahim: "I do not know where to begin, as words fail to describe the agony we live every day. My name is Ibrahim, I am 26 years old, and until recently, I was a young man with simple dreams. Today, I find myself standing helpless before the cries of my infant son and the hunger of my family. Pictured above are Ibrahim and his son, Ismail. My Family and Our Struggle I am not just responsible for myself; I am the sole provider for a large family. I support my wife, my baby boy Ismail, my elderly mother and father, and my sisters. I lost my only source of income due to the devastating war in Gaza. We are now facing an unknown future with no stability and no income to provide even the most basic necessities. Ibrahem's little brother, Youssef, is pictured above holding Ibrahem's son, Ismail. Education Amidst the Ruins Despite the darkness surrounding us, I refuse to let go of hope. I am currently a Physical Education student struggling to earn my degree. I hold onto my studies as a lifeline, hoping it will lead to a job and a life of dignity in the future. But it is heartbreakingly difficult to focus on my books while my son, Ismail, looks at me with hungry eyes, waiting for a drop of milk or a piece of bread. Ibrahem is pictured standing in the back row at the far right wearing a green and black shirt. Why We Urgently Need Your Help Life in Gaza has become an unbearable battle for survival: Baby Ismail desperately needs milk and diapers. These basic supplies are incredibly scarce and their prices have skyrocketed beyond reach. The cost of food is astronomical. Providing even one meal a day for my entire family has become a daily miracle. After losing everything, we lack the simplest requirements for a dignified life. Ibrahem (left) pictured holding his baby son, Ismail (right). The smallest donation, no matter how minor it may seem to you, means a day of food for us, or a tin of milk that saves my son from hunger. I appeal to your compassionate hearts... Please stand by me so I can protect my family and finish my education to build a future for them away from the humiliation of poverty. Your contribution is more than just money; it is a lifeline that restores our hope amidst the rubble. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and donating.” The situation in the North of Gaza is dire. My friends are facing unending famine and constant danger as bombardment has not ended. Ibrahem and his family lost their home and everything that they once knew. Please help Ibrahem sustain himself and his dear family. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be going towards all household expenses in order to keep Ibrahem and his family alive and well. All household expenses are extremely high in Gaza at this time. Anything that you can give right now is very helpful as these are lifesaving funds for a precious family just trying to survive. All funds will be transferred via Bank of Palestine directly to Ibrahem. Hey everyone, my name is Nala and I'm from New York. I've created this campaign on behalf of my friend Ahmed Ismail Mohammed Al-Kuwaifi who needs all of the support he can get right now. Ahmed is pictured above holding one of the cats that he cares for daily. He continues to do everything he can with the limited resources he has to support the animals around him as this work is very dear to his heart. But even outside of caring for the animals, he must provide for himself and his family of nine. I want to relieve all of this pressure and stress from my friend's life. I want him to feel safe and to be well, but he is struggling with more than one thing right now and can't do this on his own. More precious photos of my friend Ahmed below: A message from Ahmad: "My name is Ahmad, I am 28 years old, and I am the sole provider for my family of 9 members. We are living through extremely difficult humanitarian conditions due to the war and the complete loss of income, and the full responsibility of supporting my family now rests on my shoulders. Over the past years, I have survived death more than once — I narrowly escaped life-threatening situations over three different times, and those moments left a deep emotional and psychological scar that I still carry inside me. The photo above shows evidence of one of Ahmed's doctor's notes. He has been to several doctors time and time again, but there are no real treatments or necessary health resources available for everyone to truly be treated. Our family has also endured heartbreaking losses… We lost my brother’s wife and his children… Then, soon after, we lost my brother himself… And we also lost my sister’s husband. May God have mercy on them all. Their absence left a painful void in our lives that words cannot describe. Ahmed pictured above with his family as he mourns his dear brother, the martyr, Mohammed. Before all of this, I used to work and do my best to support my family with dignity…But for the past two years, I have been without work due to the ongoing situation, and I am no longer able to provide food, medicine, or basic daily needs for my family. Today, we struggle to secure even the most essential necessities of life. Some days, we simply cannot afford the basic things every family should have. I am not writing this out of weakness or desperation… but because I have reached a point where I can no longer carry this burden alone. The war did not only destroy our homes; it also took away our jobs and sources of income. The photos below show how much damage has been done to Ahmed's family's home. We are now living day by day, struggling to secure the most basic necessities of life. In this harsh reality, donations have been the reason for our survival and staying alive. As the month of Ramadan approaches, we find ourselves unable to provide food for our children. With heavy hearts, we reach out, hoping your support can be a lifeline for us during these difficult days. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference and gives us renewed hope. Your support — no matter how small — will help me provide food, essentials, and stability for my family, and will give us a little hope and safety after years of hardship. From the bottom of my heart — thank you to everyone who reads our story, and to every kind soul who chooses to stand with us in this difficult time." One hundred percent of the funds raised will be going towards all household expenses in order to keep Ahmed and his family alive and well. As you may or may not know, all household expenses and food expenses are extremely high in Gaza at this time. Anything that you can give right now is very helpful as these are lifesaving funds for a beautiful family who are just trying to survive. All funds will be transferred via Bank of Palestine directly to Ahmed.
