I am a mother of two young children, and right now we’re living with my in-laws because my husband lost his job of seven years. It’s been a tough transition for our family, and every day I’m working hard to keep my kids safe and hopeful while we navigate this uncertain time. We never expected to be in this situation, but we’re doing everything we can to stay strong and keep moving forward. Any funds raised will go directly towards rent for our own place. My goal is to get out of this hole and give my kids a better life—a place to call our own, where they can feel secure and thrive.
