Help Us Empower the Next Generation of Young Leaders A Non-Profit Educational Project: The Young Manager It all began with a simple question from my 9-year-old daughter. While I was preparing to launch my online course on Change Management , she peeked over my shoulder and asked: “What are you working on, Daddy?” When I told her, she asked again, “What is change management?” Her curiosity stopped me in my tracks. How could I explain such a complex topic to a 9-year-old? That moment sparked a powerful question: Can children learn to understand and manage change? What I Discovered Through my research, I learned something incredible — educators and psychologists have found that children as young as 7 years old can begin to learn the principles of change management. They can understand that change happens in life, friendships, school, and the world around them — and even learn to lead through it. Age Group Focus Core Skills How They Learn 7–10 Understanding Change Emotional awareness, curiosity Stories & fun projects 11–14 Managing Change Adaptability, teamwork Reflection & role play 15–18 Leading Change Empathy, leadership, systems thinking Projects & simulations Change Management isn’t just for business — it’s a life skill that builds empathy, resilience, and adaptability. “Children who learn to embrace change don’t just survive the future — they shape it.” The Vision: The Young Manager That’s how “The Young Manager” was born — a non-profit, multilingual educational platform that teaches management and leadership concepts to children and teens in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
