<div>Earlier this year, I made the difficult decision to leave an abusive family home. For the past few months I had been experiencing homelessness while trying to rebuild my life, unfortunately alone.

<div>Recently, I used the last of my 401k savings to secure a small efficiency apartment for me and my dog in Tampa. I have been applying for jobs every single day, but I have not been able to secure employment yet. At this point, I have exhausted all of my savings.

<div>Right now I have very little food and some days I fast to stretch what I have, it's also been difficult coming up with dog food. My bank account is overdrawn, my phone has been disconnected, my car is barely functioning, and I am officially out of gas money. Rent for April is $1,100 and I currently do not have the funds to cover it, or any backup place to go if I am evicted.

<div>I have applied for public assistance however my application is on hold. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but it's just not enough. I don’t have family to rely on as I have had to go no contact to protect myself.

<div>It is very hard for me to ask for help, but my situation is very real and very serious.
