 My name is Mike and I am fundraising to help cover legal fees in regards to an incident that happened near Carman Manitoba in August of 2026. Henry caught thieves stealing items on his property. The thieves were apprehended by the owner of the property while waiting for the police to arrive. Allegedly there was a gunshot to the radiator of the vehicles. Charges were filed against the landowner. As a community we hope that this will help lessen the burden on the landowner, and show that we are not willing to stand by while thieves continue to get away with vandalism and theft.

<div>On behalf of Annika Hansen (Zieber) and the entire Hansen and Zieber family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yesterday (July 8), Evan Hansen was involved in a devastating spray plane accident. He is currently fighting for his life in the University of Alberta Hospital. Eighty percent of his body has been burned, and he has many life threatening injuries that he is fighting to overcome.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The past 24hrs have been a nightmare for his wife of five months, Annika Hansen (Zieber) and the entire Hansen and Zieber families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because he is in critical condition, we are coming together as a community to support Annika and Evan emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to give financially, we are endlessly grateful for even the smallest amount. All financial support will go to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Lost income as Evan (farmer/pilot) and Annika (ICU RN) are both unable to work
</div>
<div>- Travel and accommodations as Evan will be expected to be in hospital for upwards of 4 months.
</div>
<div>-Basic living expenses
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to financially give, we are equally grateful for prayer. We are in need of a miracle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Specific prayer requests include:
</div>
<div>- stabilization of his blood pressure
</div>
<div>- decrease in swelling
</div>
<div>- keeping him safe from infections
</div>
<div>- for his lungs to heal
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are immensely grateful for our community’s support and we are already blown away by how our people have come together.
</div>

Support Evan and Annika Hansen

<div>There is a good chance you know Clark. If you do, you know that he is a key member in our community, and an incredibly generous person, always willing to support family, friends, neighbors and customers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Clark recently received the devastating and shocking news that he has pancreatic cancer. Even with the uncertainty he is facing, his outlook remains positive, strong, focused and determined to kick cancers butt! He has already started his journey with chemotherapy but the next steps in his treatment will take him out of the country and is very costly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let us rally together to show support for Clark through this challenging time. There will be many financial impacts ahead and any generous donation no matter how big or small will go directly to Clark to cover expenses so he can focus on his well-being, treatment and recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can’t donate at this time, it would also be helpful to share this campaign!

Help Clark Werry Fight Cancer

<div>It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have to share the tragic loss of our friend and co-worker Adam Giesbrecht., who we had the pleasure of working with during desiccation this year. He leaves behind his wife and their young son. The Giesbrecht's operate a small mixed-family farm in the Camrose area.
</div>
<div>Many people in the Agriculture / Aerial Spraying Industry have been reaching out wanting to help and show support to this young family whose lives are now turned upside down. It is in times of sadness and loss that people can come together to help one another make it through the financial burden and grieving process. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Kerri, Ryley and all of Adam's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Dear friends and family, <br />Our friend has been in a devastating plane accident in Calgary, AB near Spring Bank Airport.
She’s is suffering with life changing injuries, but surrounded with support <font color="#333333">from loved ones. <br />Megan is a daughter to two loving parents, a best friend to many, an aunty, a Godmother and a major cat lover. Megan has a younger sister who looks up to her greatly, and is engaged to the love of her life. She has touched a lot of hearts and will continue too. <br /></font>Megan has made a enormous impact on the aviation community throughout Northern Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

After graduating from college she has dedicated her time to teach aspiring pilots as well as share her wealth of knowledge. Megan is devoted and caring to her students and fellow colleagues at every opportunity she is given. <br /> We want to aid her in paying her student loans as well as any future medical and recovery expenses that will be required. With the support of the aviation family we are hopeful that we can raise this money to support Megan and her family in this long recovery. If you are able to help with a donation this would mean the world to her family and friends.

Anything would help, please only give what you can.<br />Megans mother, Angela Gallagher will be the one organizing the donations. Thank you so much everyone.

Eric who is a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend, was taken from us far too soon on the way home from a work trip. Eric was a person who would drop anything he was doing to help a friend in need. As his friends, we are asking you to help their family in a time of need. Money doesn't bring our friend back. We just want to help his family, the way he has helped all of ours. We love you Eric, and your family will always be a part of ours!<br />This is a group set up by some of Eric &amp; Stacy's close friends (<strong>Tyler &amp; Jordana Plante, Brady Breemersch &amp; Alleah Mckague, Shay &amp; Cody MacAulay, Scott Norosky &amp; his team at South End Lumber</strong>) <br />Thank you to everyone else who is so involved in Eric's life.

Hi everyone. As you may have heard, Josh Wakely has passed suddenly. In this difficult time, let's come together to support Brit and Mason any way that we can. <br /><br />Thank you so much in advance for your generosity and your ongoing support of their family.<br /><br />There is also the option to support with meals using Meal Train: <a href="https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/yoldgm"><a href="https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/yoldgm" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/yoldgm</a><br /><br /></a><br /><br />Note about this campaign: This has been organized by Richelle Ferguson, a close friend of Kate Schouten, Britney's sister. The family is grateful for this outpouring of support from the community. The money raised from this campaign will go towards funeral costs and helping to support Brit and Mason over the next few months. Britney has been added as a beneficiary to this account so that she can access the money for the upcoming funeral. Details of the funeral are still to come. Thank you.

<p>Kerry celebrated her 39th birthday on December 11th feeling a little low and tired.   She went to her daughter Avery’s Kindergarten Winter Concert with her family and dear friend Lindsey and then her situation worsened quickly.
</p>

<p>Not terribly worried, Kerry thought she was having a particularly bad flu until Sunday when she noticed increased bruising on her legs and was experiencing substantial blood loss.
</p>

<p>Brandon and Kerry went to Victoria General Hospital and Kerry received immediate attention and underwent numerous tests.  Less than two hours later, Kerry was told it looked like leukaemia.  On Monday she received a number of platelet transfusions and learned that she and Brandon would be flying to Vancouver and receive treatment at the Cancer Clinic.
</p>

<p>Kerry and Brandon flew via helicopter this afternoon (Tuesday).  Her confirmed diagnosis is a branch of AML called Acute Promyelocytic Leukaemia.  The ‘plan’ so far is for  Kerry to stay in hospital for a month to begin with and then continued treatment in Vancouver until September.
</p>

<p>Avery-5 y, Edie-3 y, and Gus-1 y are currently based with Kerry’s sister Laura and her family.   Surrounded by grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends, they will be cared for by their village over the coming months while trying to keep routines and ‘normal’ happening as much as possible.  <br /><br />Christmas comes with extra challenges this year, but will act as a reminder of how important it is to come together and love one another.  Avery, Edie and Gus are doing well and miss their parents.  They receive some comfort knowing that their mom is in the best place receiving the very best care.   Provided Kerry is able, the kids will be with Brandon and Kerry for Christmas in some configuration.
</p>

<p>We are asking for financial support to cover transportation costs, living expenses to allow Brandon to take some time off of work to support Kerry, and relieve the overall financial burden that a family battling cancer faces.
</p>

<p>If you are willing to provide funds but do not wish to donate via this page, please contact me directly.
</p>

<p>Thank you thank you for your love, prayers, and kindness.  I will update regularly.

Kerry Sjolie and Her Family—Leukaemia

<br /><br />It's easy to recite a viral quote about living your life to the fullest, or each day as if it's your last. In November 2018 our sister Erin discovered a lump which was thought/assumed/hoped to be just a cyst. A mammogram and biopsy however, found Erin’s battle with cancer would begin with a Stage 2 diagnosis just centimeters beneath the cyst. In early February 2019 a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy found the cancer had spread into 1 of 3 of the adjacent lymph nodes which were removed with clear margins. A treatment plan was initiated with a battery of tests and scans (MUGA, Bone, CT, MRI, PET). These tests and a next day phone call carried the devastating news of a Stage 4 diagnosis. A vague idea of what your life means, to live fully, gains a whole new purpose. A review panel examined Erin’s case and drug therapy has started which has an average effectiveness of 2 years before requiring alteration.<br /><br />Erin and her husband Chad have handled the diagnosis with inspirational courage, self-advocacy and hope. They are being brave for their children and for us. They speak openly to friends and family about their struggles and realities. They challenge doctors with knowledge and preparedness and they fight in every capacity possible using naturopathic diet and lifestyle changes in addition to conventional treatments. They have chosen to face overwhelming odds by not letting cancer define them, or rob them of what they have left. They have chosen to use this time to chase the happy moments each day they can. <br /><br />We would love to help them in this fight and through these difficult times, with whatever they need. Perhaps a memorable family trip or required medical equipment or treatments not covered by health insurance. We all thank you for your consideration and continued support.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />An Update written by Chad:<br /><br />Six weeks ago, we were shattered by the news of Erin's cancer spreading. Since that day, we have tried our best to remain positive and fight this through educating ourselves about this horrible disease, making changes to diet, adopting more exercise, making changes in our environment and living each day to the fullest we can. It's easier to say all of these things then practice it and we've had some struggles to maintain a positive mindset each day. <br /><br />We need you all to know that the amount of love and support that we've received from so many - this has helped us immensely in our mental health and lifting us up to regain our focus to continue to fight. It has been very overwhelming and difficult to find the words to express how much gratitude we feel and despite this cancer - how truly fortunate we are in our lives, to have all of you here with us. <br /><br />Erin starts her chemotherapy treatment today and although we are nervous, we know that all the love that surrounds us will help carry us to keep fighting with everything we have. <br /><br />These photos show how we have chosen to fight cancer and we will continue to share in the future how we fight cancer.<br /><br />Love every day.<br /><br />#howwefightcancer #halsteadstrong #loveeveryday

Updated Description - The “update” function was not saving any of the updates, so I have posted below.<br /><br />In August 2016, Gerald Stanley encountered a group of young men in his farm yard attempting to steal his property. Unfortunate events to follow led to, what was proven to be, a freak accident, which cost the life of one of the young men. It was a terrible situation and circumstance. <br />Friday February 9th 2018, Gerald was acquitted of the charge he acquired, as well as cleared of any and all wrong-doing surrounding the events of that day. <br />As imaginable, the Stanley family has spent thousands upon thousands of dollars surrounding this ordeal.  <br /><br />All funds raised will be going to the Stanley Family, in an effort to help them recoup some of their lost time, property and vehicles that were damaged, harvest income, and sanity during this entire difficult situation they have been dealing with over the past two years.<br /><br />********************************************<br />First off, the Stanley family wishes to offer a HUGE thank you for the support, donations, likes and shares, and kind words in general. The proceeds will go a long way in helping the Stanleys rebuild their lives after the tragic events of August 9, 2016. <br /><br />Secondly, we (the organizers) wish to offer our sincerest apologies to those donors whose names have been slandered or defamed by individuals who have a personal vendetta against this campaign. This behaviour is shameful, rude, and shows a complete lack of moral decency and intelligence. Donating to a fundraiser is a person’s own choice. Trying to prevent people from donating, or negatively impacting those who have donated is completely wrong. The fundraiser does not violate Gofundme’s Terms and Conditions, so it will NOT be shut down by anyone’s hand, other then the organizer. Mr. Stanley was ACQUITTED by a jury of his peers in a court of law. I am sorry to those who do not agree with the verdict, but that is another story all together. <br /><br />As well, we DO NOT condone people donating under any type of intentionally misrepresentative names. While we thank you for your generosity, we want to uphold the values of truth and integrity and respect. (GoFundMe has been paying very close attention to this - any and all donations made under false names, will simply be refunded to the donor. If you wish to donate, you must enter your name - not simply “anonymous anonymous” as those are being refunded as well. - you may still select the “anonymous” option, and your name will not appear publicly) This fundraiser and the events leading up to it are in no way a joking matter. <br /><br />It is very important that people make an effort to understand the true events that occurred that day. There are many reputable news reports, archived Tweets from inside the courtroom during the trial, photos, documents, and other resources available with which a person can educate themselves. Please do some research before judging the family, the campaign organizers, or the donors. Branding someone a “racist” or a “murderer” is extremely harmful, especially when such claims have ZERO factual merits. <br /><br />Thirdly, we would like to clarify our reasons for starting the fundraiser. The fundraiser was NOT created as a platform to promote or justify ANY type of VIOLENCE, RACISM, VIGILANTEISM, or any such other negative or harmful notions or ideologies. We are not condoning or glorifying Gerald’s actions that day. The events of August 9th impacted the Stanleys’ lives forever. As a result of other people’s actions and negative decisions, the family has suffered tremendous personal and financial losses, as well as intangible losses such as sleepless nights, stress, fear, and general upset. While certain things can never be replaced, the funds will hopefully ease some of the burdens suffered between August 9, 2016, and the present day. <br /><br />Mr. Stanley was found NOT GUILTY by a jury of 12 peers in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Canada. We respect this verdict, as well as the judicial process that was utilized in reaching this decision.<br /><br />Finally, it was NOT, nor will it ever be, our intent or the Stanleys’ intent to place any less value, or any type of indignity on the life that was lost. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the young man who lost his life on August 9, 2016. <br /><br />Thank you all for your support!!

On June 5th, 2016 our friend and fellow dirt bike rider Shane Hartje sustained a severe injury to his T7 vertabrae leaving him currently with paralysis below the chest. The future is uncertain, only time will tell, however we know that the next few months are going to be critical for Shane's recovery. Shane is unable to work in his current state and the cost to recover can add up quickly over time. The crew at Capitol Motosports wanted to create a fund in order to help Shane and his family cover any expenses they may incur due to his injury. This is our way as a community to show our love and support for Shane and his family during this difficult time.<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/12069023_1465860514.3556_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />
