Help Letie Continue Her Road to Recovery
On December 19th, Letie was rushed by ambulance to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital after suffering multiple life-threatening complications related to diabetes, including organ failure, metabolic acidosis, a stroke, pneumonia, and glaucoma complications. She was placed on life support, where she remained until January 10th, when doctors made the incredibly difficult decision to remove life support and perform a tracheotomy.
By the grace of God, Letie survived this critical time and is now beginning her journey toward recovery. She spent 34 days hospitalized and must now be transferred to a long-term care facility to continue healing.
At this facility, Letie will receive essential care, including:
• Physical therapy to help her regain the ability to walk
• Speech therapy to help her communicate while living with a tracheotomy
• Cognitive therapy to support brain function and recovery
Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for this care are overwhelming.
Cost Breakdown:
• $135 per day
• $945 per week
• Minimum 3-week stay required
• Total minimum cost: $2,835
This aftercare is absolutely critical for Letie’s recovery and long-term quality of life. We are humbly asking for help to cover these expenses so she can focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress.
No amount is too small, and every donation will go directly toward Letie’s medical care and recovery needs. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with family and friends.
Your prayers, support, and kindness mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping Letie continue fighting.
