Hello, my name is Michelle Jackson. On June 3, 2025, I made the difficult decision to leave my husband of 30 years after enduring years of family issues and mistreatment. My sister had come all the way from Michigan to help me recover after a car accident, but after six months, my husband packed her things and put her out. That was the final straw for me—I left with her that day, realizing I deserved better for myself and my only sister.

 Since then, my sister and I decided to get an apartment together and split everything 50/50. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned. My sister hasn’t been able to contribute her share, and I’ve been covering all the bills on my own, relying on my limited social security income. As a disabled person, I’ve even had to start working for DoorDash just to try and make ends meet. On top of that, I recently had to pay for urgent car repairs, and I was robbed while out working. These setbacks have left me struggling to keep up with basic expenses and feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all.

 I am reaching out for help because I truly have nowhere else to turn. I have no children, no husband, and no family support—I am literally by myself. Your support would help me cover rent, bills, and basic needs while I look for a reliable roommate who can share the costs. It would mean the world to me and would restore my faith in humanity.
