I have $250. in donations since July. I have not stopped campaigning. I am currently on 7 social media platforms. I desperately need dentures so I can eat solid food. I have had all but 6 teeth pulled at this point. Any donation no matter how small, will matter. For years, I have faced serious health challenges that have taken a toll on me. As a double belowthe knee amputee, I have lived in a skilled nursing facility for the past nine years, relying on medical care for my daily needs. I am wheelchair bound to a point.I have no prosthetics and am trying to learn to stand and walk again after sitting in a wheelchair for 9 years. I take various medications which have caused severe damage to my teeth and gums over the years. I recently experienced another setback when I fell out of my wheelchair and fractured my femur, resulting in a five-day hospital stay. Thankfully, Medical covered the cost of my care, but over time, my dental health has continued to decline. Last year, I had six teeth pulled due to abscesses. Now, It is at the point where all of my teeth must be extracted. The surgeon said he could save 6 teeth I have on the bottom front part of my mouth. My remaining teeth are cracked and rotting and have to go. I am in so much pain. I can’t chew anything anymore, which is making it impossible to eat to maintain my health. I need the money to pay the dentist and oral surgeon to have the rest of my teeth extracted, have six bone grafts and dentures. Even after insurance, I am left with a large bill that I simply cannot pay myself. I am reaching out for help because I have no way to cover these expenses. Any support you can give, would mean the world to me and help me regain my ability to eat and improve my quality of life. I would be so grateful for your help. I need to raise $6700.
