Mhlongo Duma E

In memory of our beloved Aubrey Williams, founder of Iphahamiseng Trust, an orphanage based in Bloemfontein city, Batho Location (South Africa). He passed on in 2025 July, leaving behind his wife, 30 orphans/neglected/vulnerable children/youth under his residential care, helped by 15 volunteers. From 1993, more than 2 000 children/youth have benefited from Iphahamiseng Child and Youth Care Centre. He desired to have a vehicle for use for bulk groceries and school transport. Myself, Duma E Mhlongo - a former teacher - serve Iphahamiseng at managerial level. I am starting this fundraiser to support the Salvation Army National Corporation, an organization that embodies love and compassion (South Africa, Bloemfontein city, Batho Location, Salvation Army Church at corner Sesing and Panyane Street). Funds raised here, will be managed by Salvation Army's Batho - Church branch, for the purpose set to achieve the late Mr Williams' desire. For over 30 years; Mr Williams - an ordained reverend (independent/not associated with Salvation Army) - always believed in helping those in need, and this is a beautiful way to honor his spirit. The Salvation Army works tirelessly to uplift our community, of Batho Location - ensuring that everyone receives care and support regardless of their circumstances. Your contributions will help provide: A 21 seater bus + trailer = to serve needs of the orphanage in transportation of: Orphans, vulnerable and neglected resident children/youth to schools they attend spread across Bloemfontein, South Africa. Emergency food and monthly groceries. Programmes that promote recovery and rehabilitation for orphans in need (attending therapy and counselling external services) Trips to recreational activities (sports, games, speeches, drama theatre) on a weekly basis as per interests of resident orphans and as per invitation by external service providers. Use the bus as a fundraising resource when booked for special trips by churches and other organisations. Let’s come together to continue Aubrey's legacy of kindness.
