My mom’s life changed in an instant when her apartment caught fire. She lost everything she owned, and heartbreakingly, her beloved dog didn’t survive. The fire left her with injuries that required a hospital stay, and she’s now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch. Right now, my mom needs help with medical bills, finding a safe place to live, and replacing the essentials she lost—like clothing, hygiene products, and food that fits her diabetic needs. She wears size 16 pants or shorts, large tops, and women’s size 11 shoes. She also needs an unlocked cellphone for Cricket Mobile and some basic comforts like blankets to help her feel safe again.
