<div>Jordyn Terra Gomez passed away in her sleep on Nov 15th. Although she was medically fragile, she was a complete force of strength and resilience, defeating all odds. Aicardi Syndrome is such a rare disability that made a lot of things difficult for her, but she kept overcoming multiple barriers and gave us all 19 wonderful years. Jordyn was pure innocence and light. She was an angel here on earth and now she is our angel in heaven above. She will be missed beyond words can convey. Her mom and dad are putting together a Celebration of Life event for her, tentatively scheduled for December 15th. Please help donate whatever you can so they can prepare and give Jordyn a beautiful memorial service and cover unexpected costs.

<div>Derek Green, aka "Dee" passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2024, doing what he loved most - fishing. Derek was a loyal and longstanding Manager of Precision Tune for 23 years. He built a great rapport with his customers, his community and his fellow co-workers. Dee was always someone you could count on to get the job done right. Derek’s love for fishing and his dogs (his "kids") was well known by everyone who knew and loved Dee. Dee will be remembered by his genuine personality, his honesty and his loyalty to all those he called family and friends. Dee would do anything for those he loved. His bright smile and laughter will be missed by us all and he has left a big hole in all of our hearts.

Jennifer is a single stay at home mom of six, she was surrogate for three family’s helping give  them their forever family’s. Now it’s time for us  to help give back to her own family. Jennifer was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago and she has been fighting ever since not just her self but for her six children she will leave behind. Jennifers diagnoses has recently taken a turn for the worse as her doctors have told her she  only has a few months on this earth left. She has no close relatives to help her as she navigates through this tough journey. Todd's Fight with Pancreatic Cancer!

<div>I’m sure most of you know by now, but for those who do not, Tim‘s house suffered a kitchen fire late last night. It spread very quickly and engulfed most of his home and belongings. Unfortunately, the few things not completely destroyed were in the two back bedrooms but were still heavily damaged from the smoke or intense heat. The kitchen, living room, and his bedroom are total losses. During an attempt to put out the fire, he received serious burns to his left foot. He does has some insurance to help cover a bit of the property inside his house, and full coverage on his new car that was also badly damaged from the heat; Tim still has a long and difficult road ahead of him, not only financially but physically as takes the necessary time to let his foot heal before returning to work. Many of you know Tim from his time serving Cenla in the food and beverage industry for well over 10 years; a huge requirement of the job is to be on his feet anywhere from 9-12 hrs a day, which he is unable to do currently. Tim is not asking for help, which is a very hard thing to do in times like this! If anybody can help out in anyway, even if it’s just sharing this for him, I know he would be forever grateful. Alexander’s Journey

Michael Conish is one of our hospital transporters. He is a wonderful person who was dealt the most devastating hand. His fiancé, Aline Guidry, contracted COVID-19 while she was pregnant. Allie passed away on June 25th due to complications from COVID-19.  The medical team caring for her had to do an emergency c-section to deliver their baby, Madaline, at only 25 weeks. Madaline is currently in the NICU. This fundraiser will help cover medical bills they have accrued already and will continue accruing with Madaline’s NICU stay. It will also help cover funeral expenses for Allie.

Hi Everyone:<br /><br />Zachary and Taylor Brenner here!   Our very best friend, Gavin, is in Rapides Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.  He has been there since Saturday, April 18, 2015.     He is in a coma because of oxygen deprivation.  His condition has been a complete roller coaster.  Just like Gavin, his condition is keeping us on our toes. Prayers and everyone's love for Gavin and his family has kept all of us in his life very hopeful for his recovery.  Today, April 22, we received a glimmer of hope in this very dark time.  The family is CAUTIOUSLY optimistic that Gavin will come out of his coma and become the magical, spunky boy whom we all know and love.  Hopefully, that glimmer will turn into a shining star.
