What they care about

I love spending time with my family, doing activities outdoors, and learning new things.

Elijah has been improving greatly since his brain tumor was removed. He is working hard during physical therapy and through playtime with his family and fan club. His cheerful nature has returned and his smile spreads joy to those he meets. Elijah underwent some additional procedures this week to prepare him for his next challenge: chemotherapy. His recovery will be a long journey, but he is well cared for by his loving parents who are by his side every step of the way. Sophie and Alex appreciate all the love and assistance so far. Please continue to support Elijah, Alex, and Sophie by sharing this fundraiser, sending them well wishes, and/or keeping them in your prayers. Thank you all <3!
Sophie came into our lives in 2018 as our children’s nanny, and became a part of our family during the two years we lived together. We met Alex during that time, and quickly realized what a caring and reliable person he was. Sophie’s time with us came to an end, and she and Alex married and started their new life together. Their son Elijah came into the world in late 2025. He is a happy, smiley baby who has brought so much joy to his parents and everyone who meets him. Recently, Elijah was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. He has already undergone one surgery to relieve pressure caused by the tumor blocking fluid drainage, and is facing another surgery and ongoing care once a full diagnosis is determined. Sophie and Alex are both hardworking, kind, and generous people, and while they have insurance, Elijah will be in the hospital for at least a month. The emotional and financial toll of this situation is immense. These funds will help Sophie and Alex with travel expenses, meals while caring for Elijah, medical costs that may not be covered by insurance, and potentially lost income if they need to take time away from work to care for their son. Any amount, big or small, would make a meaningful impact on this lovely family during this incredibly difficult time. Your support means the world to them as they navigate this challenging journey.
