I have been working in restaurants since I was 15 years old. After 25 years in the industry, I need a change. I decided to go to school and start a career in the healthcare field. I have enrolled at Pima to become a Sterile Process technician, set to graduate in March. Last week, I was denied for financial assistance. I will still be working full time while attending school, because I have rent and bills. I'm hoping against hope that some kind souls can help me achieve my goals. This will help cover tuition, books, and other school related expenses. I am passionate about helping others and believe that a career in healthcare will allow me to make a real difference in people’s lives. The transition from the restaurant industry to healthcare is a big step, but I am determined to succeed and build a stable future for myself. I've never asked for help before, despite being on my own since I was a teenager, but now is the time to ask and hope that someone can give a helping hand. Any support, no matter how small, will mean the world to me and help me reach my goal of graduating and starting a new chapter in my life.
