<div>On July 3rd, 2025 our hearts were shattered by the tragic and senseless loss of Victoria Truss, know as “Vikki” to family and friends. A beautiful soul whose life was violently taken at the hands of her partner. In an act of unimaginable violence, Victoria was taken from this world far too soon—leaving behind a 14-year-old son, who is now without his mother, and siblings who are struggling to comprehend this devastating loss.

<div>In the aftermath of this horrific act, the suspect led law enforcement on a high-speed chase, during which resulted in police officer being shot. And the Suspect being killed. What began as a domestic tragedy quickly unfolded into a ripple of heartbreak across the community.

<div>Victoria was more than just a victim—she was a loving mother, a devoted sister, a cherished friend, and a light in the lives of those who knew her. Her smile could brighten any room, and her strength was the foundation of her family. She was the heart of her home.

Donate haircuts for special needs kids 2025

<div>Hello my name is Crystal Cofield. On May 14th 2023 Mother’s Day a 18 year old decided to go on a high speed chase from the police and crashed into my cousins house. My cousin, her mother (she didn’t make it) and her 5 girls and their friends were in the house when the truck was going over 100 mph crashed into the house. He crashed right into my aunts bedroom and the house is no replacing. So if you could find it in your heart to donate whatever you can $1 or $100 it will be greatly appreciated. They lost it all their home, her mother .

My cousin lost her mother & home

<div>On Sunday, March 5, 2023, my beautiful niece, Keianna, was warming up for a cheer competition in Raleigh, NC. She was coming down from a stunt when her teammates noticed she was acting “weird.” They got her safely to the ground when her coach noticed her muscles were flexing and her eyes were rolled back in her head. Keianna was having a seizure and was not breathing. A nearby coach and RN checked for a pulse, and when there was none, she immediately started CPR. My sister, Andrea, got to her side and took over CPR, administering about 3 rounds before placing an AED and giving her 1 shock. She started breathing but was still unresponsive. CPR continued until paramedics arrived where she was rushed to the hospital, still unresponsive. While at the hospital, Keianna had 3 more seizures and coded once again, so the decision was made to intubate her. At the time of this post, she is still in a medically induced coma in the ICU but is stable. We are unsure exactly what caused this incident, and can only speculate that her heart went into arrhythmia from a combination of dehydration, too much caffeine from an energy drink, and exercise. Please consider donating to Keianna’s fund as she continues to fight. Money from your donations will go toward the extensive medical bills the Joe family will face, as well as other costs related to treatment and follow-up. If you cannot donate, please send her a positive message letting her know there is an army of people out there praying for her recovery. Thank you for keeping my niece in your thoughts.

<div>My name is Stephanie Abreu and I am starting this fund me on behalf of my sister-in-law Sugeiry Abreu. Her daughter, Katilyn Corona was tragically killed in a car accident on the morning of 01/07/2023. She was only 23 years old. She was on her way to work on the morning of the accident. For those that knew Katilyn, she was such a kind and gentle soul. She loved music, her family, animals, hair, fashion and makeup and most importantly God. Her smile would light up a room and her laughter was contagious. She always had a glow to her. She had just recently received her cosmetology license and she was working in a hair salon. Her dream was to have her own hair salon. She was such a dedicated, hard worker.

<div>Katilyn was killed by a 17-year-old driver who ran a red light. She was killed upon impact. The 17-year-old driver has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, running a red light, careless and reckless driving, driving with a revoked license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and expired registration and inspection. With a misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, the driver will face no jail time.
