In March 2025, I found myself unable to keep up with rent because it was too high and I was the only source of income for my family. Losing our home was devastating. We had to get rid of almost everything, and the only thing we managed to keep was our car. Since then, my daughter and I have been moving between hotels and sleeping in the car, doing our best to get by. I am grateful that I have been able to keep my job, but after a recent accident, we lost our car too. Now, it's just the two of us, and I am struggling to save enough to find a place to live. Everything is so expensive, and I feel lost without a stable home. The most urgent thing we need right now is a safe and stable place to live so my daughter can focus on her education. She has been missing days at school because of our situation, and I know that having a place to call our own would help her so much. More than anything, I want her to have the chance to concentrate on school and feel secure. I know everyone is going through their own struggles, but if anyone can help us in any way, I would be so grateful. Even if I have to pay it back when I'm back on my feet, I promise I will. Thank you for any support you can give.

My daughter and I live in our car. I have a job, but unfortunately, the road that I take always has donkeys on it. One night, one of them got on the road, and I tried not to hit it, so I ended up destroying my car. Now, I don't have my car and nowhere to sleep. Please help me out.

Your help will make a difference 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, my name is Myra. I am a mother of 3 wonderful kids. Two of them are adults going to college and working. I am so proud of them. My two older kids and I pay rent all together, but unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident. The impact fractured my shoulder. My doctor referred me to a chiropractor, which I attended for 3 months. You guys can only imagine the pain I went through, but like we all know, bills don't stop. The rent went up, and at this point, it was out of our budget. We were not able to pay $2,450 anymore. My two older kids went their way, like they should; that's life. So at that point, I had to try to figure out what to do, but unfortunately, I have an eviction on my record, so that made it twice as difficult to be able to get approved for an apartment. I was running out of time, and the stress of not knowing where I was going to take my daughter was overwhelming. As much as I tried, every door was closing on me. So at this point, the only option I had was the car, yes, to live in my car. And right when I thought nothing could be worse than this, I was wrong, very wrong. I couldn't see myself putting my daughter through the situation of sleeping in a car, so the toughest decision that I have made in all my life was to allow my daughter to live with her dad, even though I know that's not what she wanted. I felt broken and defeated. I remember that day every day I am without her. Every day I talk to her, and every day she asks if I found a place. My heart breaks every time I tell her no. So at this point, I am asking for help to be able to purchase an RV for my daughter and me. Any donation is a blessing. I will much appreciate it.
