I am raising funds to support the startup of a new 501c4 nonprofit organization focused on advocating and lobbying for constitutional protection of the environmental rights of ALL people, including future generations, to clean water, healthy air, quality soils in which to grow quality foods, a safe climate, thriving biodiversity, and healthy environments. As we watch the Trump administration rollback essential environmental protections for our water, air, climate, environment, communities, and future generations, a new path for environmental protection is needed. Constitutional Green Amendments are that path! I founded the Green Amendments movement over a decade ago. Green Amendments provide constitutional recognition to environmental rights that are meaningful and enforceable. Today, we have Green Amendments in 3 states, with over 20 more in the works. The Green Amendments For The Generations nonprofit I founded in 2014 is helping communities in over 20 states to learn about the power of constitutional Green Amendments. But these communities need a greater level of support. Today, they need an organization that can help them advocate and lobby for the power of constitutional Green Amendment protections. With this GoFundMe, I hope to give them that needed support. Green Amendments is a new nonprofit organization recognized by the federal government as a 501c4 organization that is entitled to advocate and lobby for constitutional protection of environmental rights. But we need startup funds to get this side of the movement funded and rolling.
