<div>The Westdale Football Program wanted to take a few minutes to express our gratitude and support to everyone over the last couple of years as attendance at our home games has been phenomenal and you need to know that it means a lot to the players and coaches.
</div>

<div>Only 4 short years ago there had been no football program for at least 3 years prior at Westdale. Then in the spring of 2022 we started all over again. Hell, we didn’t even have a field that first year. Yet somehow through hard work and perseverance by the kids and coaches our Jr and Sr teams have both made it to the city championship finals in 2024 and 2025 with the pinnacle being our Sr Football team winning the City Championship just two weeks ago. That took just 4 short years and we’re not done yet.

<div>There is no shortage of volunteers and players for the program. We have 51 kids on the team and 9 coaches. The costs to dress 1 kid for football is approx $2000 and while that cost is not each year for each player, the equipment does have to be replaced on a yearly basis due to wear and tear or an automatic replacement for helmets over 10yrs old.

<div>A successful program like this is about more than football. It’s about the effect it has on the kids. We teach life lessons like respecting your community, respecting yourself and others and how to work as a team to achieve a shared vision or goal. We watch them grown up before our eyes each and every day. They start as boys but leave as young men and in some cases champions!

<div>We want this culture and momentum to continue into the future. For this to happen we need your financial support so we are asking for any donations big and or small. If you have passion for your old high school, or are passionate about the effect high school sports has on kids and the community, then you’re the person we need help from.
