Timothy Thompson Memorial Fund <br /> <br /> <br />By now, many of you might have heard of the untimely passing of Tim Thompson. <br /> <br />Tim was a great loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tim was beloved by everyone he came across. Tim was known for being a family man, with 2 daughters, 1 son, and 1 granddaughter. He did everything for his family and always put his family first before himself. Tim had a great sense of humor. Wherever Tim was, you could hear laughter and happiness. He cherished his family and granddaughter dearly. Unfortunately, Timothy was taken from his family early when he needed to undergo surgery and was injured during the surgery. This caused Tim to bleed from the injury he sustained during the surgery. Doctors were unable to stop the bleed and Tim was on life support.  <br /> <br />Timothy worked for Chartwells at Bard College. He worked for Chartwells for 25+ years, and was in a union. The college changed companies, and after the college switched to the new company, Tim lost all of his benefits, Life insurance, etc.  At this time, we are trying to raise as much money as possible to help cover the cost of the funeral and medical expenses, to help his family in this difficult time. Tim was the sole provider for his family. Erik salgado ramirez was a 22 year old guy with a 3 year old daughter &amp; a upcoming baby , on june 7 , 2020 around 10pm CHP shot him 40 times and killed him and shot his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach during a routine traffic stop on the block of 9600 block of cherry st in Oakland , CA They were both unarmed , During this hard time of all the  police brutality &amp; not having equality we ask to help our family for the funneral expenses we appreciate everyone thank you so much #Justiceforerik

Erik Salgado’s Funneral Expenses

On May 27th, 2020, <strong>Tony McDade</strong>, a black LGBTQ person, was shot and killed by a Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) officer. <br /><br />Many details surrounding this incident are unclear, but we are asking the community for support during this difficult time. 100% of funds collected here will go to Tony's family.<br /><br />This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling,  and to assist Tony's family in the days to come as they continue to seek justice for Tony. <br /><br />All funds collected on this website will be withdrawn to a designated family member (Tony's mother).
