Helping Mary Build A Better Future

This year has been the hardest year of my life. I am currently facing homelessness while trying to stay strong for my two-year-old son, who was born with a speech impairment and needs a safe, stable environment to continue growing and developing. Finding affordable childcare that can properly support his needs has been extremely difficult, but as his mother, I am determined to give him the care, love, and opportunities he deserves. In the middle of all of this, I am also a full-time student working toward building a better future for us. After losing both of my parents this year, everything changed. My father passed away from heart failure, and my mother passed away due to complications from diabetes. Their deaths left me emotionally devastated and suddenly responsible for handling life completely on my own. I now have to pay for their funeral expenses, and my two younger siblings are also facing homelessness. I have been doing everything I can to keep pushing forward, but the weight of grief, housing instability, funeral costs, childcare expenses, transportation needs, and school costs has become overwhelming. I am asking for help so I can continue my education, secure stable housing, obtain reliable transportation, pay for my parents' funeral expenses, and provide a safe place where my son and siblings can grow, heal, and simply be children with things of their own.
