<div>Support Magician Eric Jones During His Medical Recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to support Eric Jones—professional magician and America’s Got Talent finalist—during an unexpected and serious medical crisis that has forced him to step away from work and focus entirely on recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What Happened
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Earlier this year, Eric experienced a sudden medical emergency that brought everything to a halt. After extensive testing, doctors discovered that his heart was functioning at less than 20% capacity and that two blood clots had formed in the lower chambers of his heart. His cardiology team immediately placed him on blood thinners and recommended an urgent heart cauterization, which was performed the same day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When Eric woke up from anesthesia, something was wrong—his speech was impaired, and he was unable to use his right arm. Doctors witnessed him having a seizure, and an MRI later confirmed that one of the blood clots had broken free, traveled to his brain, and caused a stroke.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To prevent further damage, doctors placed Eric into a medically induced coma. While his condition has stabilized, the stroke significantly affected his balance, speech, and strength on one side of his body. In addition to the stroke, Eric has suffered multiple heart attacks over the past several months. His doctors have now recommended a double bypass surgery, followed by an extended and carefully monitored recovery period.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Impact
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a result of these medical events, Eric has had to cancel all work from October through March, with the likelihood of additional time away from performing after surgery. Like many professional performers, Eric’s livelihood depends entirely on his ability to travel and work—and right now, that simply isn’t possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Between mounting medical bills and months of lost income, the financial strain has been significant and ongoing as Eric focuses on healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How the Funds Will Be Used
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised through this campaign will help cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Medical bills, surgery, and post-operative care
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rehabilitation, medications, and follow-up treatment
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Income lost during recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everyday living expenses while Eric is unable to perform or travel
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many friends, fans, and colleagues have asked how they can support Eric and his family during this time. This fundraiser provides a direct and meaningful way to help ease the financial burden while he concentrates on recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fundraising goal reflects anticipated medical and recovery-related expenses, as well as income lost during this period. Updates will be shared as appropriate as Eric moves through surgery and rehabilitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your generosity, encouragement, prayers, and support. It truly means more than words can express.

Help Eric Jones Through Cardiac Recovery

<div>As you all know Christmas as magicians is when we make most of our money to see us through the start of the year...but our friend Nemed's car engine has completley broke meaning he needs a whole new engine, which isn't cheap. Instead of cancelling gigs Nemed hired a car (which isn't cheap either) and continued with every single gig.
</div>
<div>Lets all help out our friend Nemed and get this hire car paid off and help him get back on the road.
</div>

<div>I'm starting this fundraiser for my daughter Kaitlyn Conn and her children: Gracie &amp; Addilyn
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>They were driving home yesterday (3/22/22) and were struck by a car who was fleeing a shooting (news story below)
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Her car (which she recently paid off) is totaled
</div>

<div>&amp; her daughter Addilyn, has two broken legs.
</div>

<div>There are other cuts, bumps and bruises... It's bad, but thankfully not much worse.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Kaitlyn is a hardworking single mother and is in no shape to be off work, much less afford to replace a car! So, to make a long story short: I'm hoping we can raise enough money to get her another set of wheels and perhaps help with some funds while she's off work.

Daughter & Kids, involved hit and run during crime

Most involved in the magic community are quite familiar with Simon Lovell, through his several books, DVD's, radio and television appearances, his countless magic convention appearances on both sides of the Atlantic, and his long-running one-man off-broadway show "Strange &amp; Unusual Hobbies."<br /><br />Back in October, 2013, Simon suffered a severe multiple break to his right femur, requiring surgical implantation of titanium rods and some 2-1/2 months of hospital care. Simon has not been able to function (or work) much since that time, and recently has been admitted to hospitals five times over the last few weeks. Presently, he is still hospitalized for a variety of quite serious conditions. Simon is not healthy physically, mentally, or spiritually. <br /><br />Simon's eighty-three years young father, Tony Lovell, who lives in the U.K., has been working to bring Simon home to live with him  for recovery, for an extended time. Tony Lovell lives alone near Chelmsford, in the East of England. Tony Lovell and his daughter have been working towards setting up proper continuing medical care for Simon, and Tony Lovell is further trying to absorb all the literal baggage and costs . . . paying for Simon's return, storage and shipping of his personal effects, and so forth. There is essentially nothing left for Simon in the United States, sadly, in terms of work, tangible assets, or even a suitable place to live. <br /><br />Father Tony and his daughter Sue (who is a career matron nurse) are going to have their hands full, to say the least. Retired Constable Tony Lovell is going to have to put his career law enforcement skills to work once again, this time working to restore his only son's health. Simon is not capable of much function at present and is clearly incapable of managing his own affairs. <br /><br /><strong>Every single nickel of the net proceeds from this little fundraiser will go strictly to Simon's father, Tony Lovell, who will use them properly and wisely toward Simon's recovery.</strong> Tony is the type of person that would not ask for help personally, but Simon has a long road ahead. This isn't a quick process measurable in days, more like many months to a couple of years. <br /><br />This road does not include alcohol or fun to be sure, and Simon will be accompanying his father to church, and will be experiencing a healthy lifestyle and continuous medical treatment for the first time in years, if he has indeed ever had it. Simon looks to be headed to the U.K. shortly, perhaps as soon as next week. At this extremely serious point, having his father look after him is Simon's best chance at recovery, perhaps his only chance. <br /><br /><img class="not-resizeable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/1649777_1404424657.8318_multi.jpeg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br /><br />Your expressions of love, support, generosity and good-will be a huge help and greatly appreciated by the Lovell Family. Tony Lovell has promised everyone regular updates as to Simon's progress.
