Elizabeth was recently the victim of domestic violence. Last week she suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Miraculously, she survived but lost her eye and has a long road to recovery. She has more surgeries scheduled and will miss time from work. She also has an 11 month old daughter for whom she is the primary provider. We appreciate any contributions to help her through this difficult time.

Independent Film Producer John Paul Rice of A CHILD'S VOICE and Philadelphia-based producers Pete Postiglione and Val McAdoo, need YOUR HELP to finish the movie - GAME DAY - an important film for our time about family, truth, courage and love.

A story about an "underdog" group of fighters, GAME DAY is a raw, humorous and inspirational film about an Italian-American family from Philadelphia who gather each year to enjoy good food, drinks, and family as well as to cheer on their beloved Eagles against their most hated rival the Cowboys. Soon the rivalries within the family become wilder than the game. Fights and bitter realizations arise within the family throughout each nerve-wracking quarter of the game, leading to a final accounting of where each of their lives are headed when the game clock reaches zero.

"Great Rivalries Last Forever" WHO WILL WIN?

All of us come from different family backgrounds. Some have close families; others are broken. Some have mended, others not. Game Day is about the family glue coming undone, the fall of old illusions and the realities of each person's life, and yet there is care, love and truth that liberates each family member to finally do what they have always wanted to - be true to themselves - and not at the expense of others.

Game Day is a very timely story in our divisive world. We see this film as an opening to a greater opportunity for all with honest conversations, true forgiveness and real togetherness.

Game Day has the same spirit as Little Miss Sunshine, with authentic characters and emotions along with the depth and drama of Ordinary People.

GAME DAY: Post-Production Funding

Susie’s colon cancer has required three surgeries in two months. Although this has been an overwhelming experience, surgeons were able to remove the cancerous tumor. Fortunately, the cancer didn't spread to the lymph nodes. This means no chemotherapy!

However, we are left with the cost of surgery and continued medical expenses above our current limited income.

Your generosity and prayers are very much appreciated!

Today, we unexpectedly lost a great man, Andrew Willey. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. We are asking for donations to help lay Andrew to rest and relieve the Willeys of this financial burden. Thank you for any kind of help you can offer. Funds will go to directly to their family for funeral services and any additional funds will be used to help them in this time of need.

Help lay Andrew to rest

My husband Barney had a Massive Stroke last year September 29th. He has worked so hard for his family and NEVER complains. We are at our last resort, trying to keep our mortgage and bills up to date and now we have to wait on EDD to extend his claim which will take 3 weeks! Whatever you can help with will be a blessing.
THANK YOU ❤️

This is an urgent request for financial help for Carol and her family. Carol has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable, very aggressive form of brain cancer that is affecting the sensory areas of her brain. Doctors are recommending radiation and chemo but they are telling her that it will not save her life.

Carol and her family have prayed about where this journey may lead them and have decided to not only trust God for the complete miracle healing but choose alternative methods of treatment. In that Carol is a holistic coach, this totally makes sense to her. Therefore, funds are needed to not only support this medical journey (all modalities) but also for other family expenses due to her husband being out of work.

My name is Marilyn Gray and I am an RSM practitioner that has been associated with Carol for the last few years. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Whatever you can give financially would be so appreciated and please add the Tisza family to your prayer list. Thank you!!

I’m writing to notify all of you of a tragic situation currently happening to the life of one of our employees. Petar Petrov, one of our new car sales managers has been put on leave of absence from Sonic Automotive because he is stuck in Antwerp, Belgium with his family while his wife is fighting for her life.

Petar left on Friday, November 18th to fly to Antwerp, Belgium after months of stress regarding his brother in law to be with his sister and her two kids while they struggled with the impending loss of their husband/father who suffers from MS.

A few days into their visit in Antwerp; Petar and his family were out in the city…Petar left his wife and two kids for a few minutes to go into a nearby store, while he was in there he heard screams coming from outside and ran out to find that his wife had been hit/crushed by a construction wall that they were walking by; the scaffolding holding up the building fell. She was rushed to the hospital and had to have her skull opened to relieve the pressure from her brain swelling, she was induced into a coma with minimal chance of survival and has been in a coma since that day. This has been a considerable ordeal in more ways than one for Petar; his sister, nieces and nephews are about to lose their father and his wife has life threatening injuries in a foreign country where the hospital staff are not as kind to families/patients as they are here. Petar has been asked daily for payment for her care. He has been in touch with the U.S. Embassy and is not only struggling with the reality that he might lose his wife and his kids might lose their mother but being in a country where payment takes precedence over life and psychological care.

At this moment in time; Petar and his family will truly benefit from any contribution you make to this situation.

Thank you everyone. Petar is a good man, has a huge heart, and this will mean the world to his family.

Hope for the Petrov Family

Sadly, Matt was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in August (Sarcomatous Mesothelioma of the abdomen). Despite aggressive treatment he is now home on hospice. Life is not fair and now he and his family are in dire financial straits. He hasn't had a paycheck since July and the disability paperwork has not yet gone through. If you can spare anything please consider it and thank you on behalf of Matt and his wife Jacqueline.
