My name is Mark Anderson and I have a few setbacks. I was in the hospital for severe sciatica pain. I was told by the hospital that I had a blockage in my colon and I needed antibiotics.(What I have is Stage 4 cancer) But... While I was in the hospital, my house caught fire(it has to be gutted) and the insurance company is not covering the cost to meet the contractor quote)and repair it. My son is helping me deal with the insurance adjuster and the public adjuster that I had to hire. He's also helping me with travel back and forth to examinations. He's keeping track of my medical while my wife is by my side in the hospital (changing out my colostomy bag and wound care). The doctors and nurses at the hospital say I am blessed with a good woman ..(and I know it). We are trying to get my wife's green card currently. While I was in the second hospital, I was told that I have colon cancer, an aneurysm, a bad heart (AFIB), and my blood pressure is low (probably shouldn't have gone to the hospital). So, I have colon cancer which gave me liver cancer. Yes, it metastasized. I'm getting ready to do 6 months of chemotherapy. I am going to try the City of Hope in Georgia and see what they can do for me, but not everything is covered by insurance. Since my son left his job to take care of his father and my wife does not have a job other than taking care of me, my social security, which is my only source of income, is covering the three of us.
