Hello, my name is Melissa. I started this fundraiser for my sister Amelie and her family, who is going through a very difficult time right now. 
 
Since the end of 2024, she has been battling an aggressive form of cancer – choriocarcinoma with lung metastases. She is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy (EMA/CO). Her daily life has been characterized by exhaustion, pain, hospital stays, and much worry for months. 
 
My brother-in-law works full-time and supports the family with everything he has. But the stresses of illness, children, ongoing costs, and lack of income are pushing the family to its limits. It isn't easy for my sister and her family to take this step, but they need help. 
 
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to continuing the fight. And even if you can't donate, please share this appeal. Every bit of help counts.
