Hi I am Riya . I am 21 years old. I am an international student studying in Canada. I got diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma or uterus cancer . I belong to a middle class family from Nepal and I was raised by my single mother, as my dad passed away when I was 10 year old due to another life threatening disease. I came here with dreams of building a better future for myself and my mother, who raised me as a single parent and is the only earning member of my family.

A few weeks ago, my world turned upside down—I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Being far from home, with no family in Canada, this journey has been incredibly difficult, both emotionally and financially. My mother, who is back in Nepal, is doing everything she can, but the cost of medical treatment and living expenses are overwhelming.

As an international student, I have limited access to healthcare benefits and financial support, making it almost impossible to cover the rising medical costs on my own. I am now reaching out for help from kind-hearted people who can support me in this fight. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help me afford medical treatments, transportation to appointments, and basic living expenses while I focus on getting better.
