Mariah Johnson, a local Richland One School District Rising 8th Grader at WA Perry Middle School, has been given an incredible opportunity: she was selected as 1 of only 10 students to travel abroad in the summer of 2027 through her school and Richland District One. This educational trip will allow Mariah to visit London, Paris, Madrid, and other important places in Europe, where she will be able to learn through real-world experiences, cultural exchange, and historical exploration. Being chosen for this opportunity is a major accomplishment, and it reflects Mariah’s hard work and potential. We are asking the community to come together to do everything we can to help her take part in this life-changing experience. This is why we are reaching out to our community for support. With your help, Mariah will have the chance to experience educational growth beyond the classroom, build confidence, and create memories that can shape her future.
The funds raised will help cover the many expenses connected to the trip, including passport fees, travel insurance, educational supplies, train travel between countries, transportation within European cities, lodging, airfare across the Atlantic, food, and some spending money. Donations will also help pay for meaningful experiences such as a boat ride and admission to important landmarks and museums like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Prado Museum.
Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to Mariah. Thank you for helping Mariah make this amazing opportunity possible. Payments are fast, secure, and every dollar helps bring her closer to the flight!
