<div>Hello, my name is Alison Harper. Emily is not just someone who works with me — she’s part of our extended family. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m reaching out to share the unimaginable tragedy that struck her family this past July 4th.

<div>While enjoying a day at the beach, Emily, Paul, and their two young sons were suddenly swept into a dangerous rip current.

<div>Thanks to the incredible bravery and quick action of selfless strangers on the beach, Emily and the boys were pulled to safety. Strangers attempted CPR on Paul, doing everything they could to save him, but tragically, his life could not be saved.

<div>Paul spent his final moments ensuring his sons would live. He died a hero — sacrificing his own life to protect the people he loved most. His courage and selflessness speak volumes about the kind of man he was.

<div>But Paul was so much more than the hero of that tragic day. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a gentle and kind-hearted soul who gave generously to everyone around him. His love for Emily and the boys was the kind you could feel just by being near him.

<div>Emily and the boys are now left facing an unimaginable loss. They are beginning a new chapter of life without their husband and father — a journey filled with grief, uncertainty, and unimaginable heartache.
