I have been doing my business now for 2 years now, I made it in a time when I was depressed and now I think I'm ready to make a difference in this world and do it by showing what I love and how I can tell stories, not just mine.

The story Hi, I’m Marcus, founder of Always Working Clothing (AWC) a London-based streetwear and mental health brand built around the message: “Always working on yourself and your dreams.” I started AWC during a difficult time in my life when I felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of my direction. The message became a reminder to keep going not through burnout or pressure, but through small steps, steady progress, and learning to move through hardships. ________________________________________ What This Fundraiser Supports I’m launching the first AWC event on December 20th, bringing together around 60 people for a night focused on: • Mental health awareness • Community connection • Creative expression • Encouragement and support There will be through music, speakers, activities, and a space for people to feel seen and supported especially those who feel alone or stuck. Before that, on December 8th, I’ll also have a market stall at Greenwich University to introduce the brand and raise awareness. ________________________________________ Why I’m Fundraising Some of the foundation is already in motion, I’ve: ✔ Booked the venue ✔ Purchased the first batch of caps ✔ Prepared materials for the stall The first £35 donated has already helped move this forward, and I’m incredibly grateful for that support. Every bit makes a difference and reminds me that this mission resonates beyond just me. Now I’m raising the remaining funds to cover: • Food and refreshments for the event • Payments for performers and event staff. • Final stall supplies • Charity donations • Additional event setup costs Four charities will each receive a donation as part of this launch £100 each, £400 altogether: Irie Mind CPAG (Child Poverty Action Group) Papyrus Facework CIC ________________________________________ How You Can Help Even a small donation of £1–£3 genuinely helps move this forward. Not everyone can give a large amount and that’s okay. AWC exists because small steps matter. If you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser helps just as much. ________________________________________ Thank You Thank you to everyone who has already supported, shared, or encouraged this project, you have been amazing and I can’t be more grateful. ________________________________________ Stay Connected Instagram: @always_working_clothing TikTok: alwaysworkingclothing YouTube: Homedia Productions LinkedIn: Always Working Clothing ________________________________________ Charities Connected to This Launch These are the charities the fundraiser will support as part of the event: Irie Mind Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) Papyrus Facework CIC ________________________________________ Networks & Organisations Connected to the Journey Throughout building AWC, I’ve been connected with or inspired by organisations whose work aligns with creativity, mental health, and community impact. Some have influenced the journey directly, others indirectly, and some represent future collaborations as the brand grows. • Mediorite • The Kusp • Mi and More • Homedia Productions • Greenwich Generator • Learning the Ropes These names are listed not as sponsors, but as organisations whose work, values, or presence have intersected with this journey in meaningful ways.
