Brenda, my friend, is dedicated to giving Brewster, a rescued Ridglan Farm Beagle, a second chance at life. Brewster is still learning how to be a dog after spending his early years in difficult conditions. He is very skittish and, if given the opportunity, will run off, making it crucial to secure the porch where he spends time. Brenda needs funds to buy materials and pay for installation to secure the perimeter of her porch, ensuring Brewster's safety as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Brenda's commitment to rescue is inspiring. She drove by herself over 1000 miles from New York to Wisconsin in order to be part of the open rescue in April. Although the rescue was unsuccessful that weekend, a few organizations soon negotiated the release of 1500 Beagles. Brenda drove another 220 miles to pick up one of those rescued dogs, Brewster, and has been focusing on his rehabilitation with the help of her other dog, Buddy. Brewster is slowly learning to trust and enjoy life as a beloved pet, but he still needs extra protection to keep him safe.
