Ayúdanos a llevar a 41 niños y adolescentes músicos de Honduras a su primer intercambio internacional Hola, soy Marcela Fernández, fundadora de Proyecto UREMU, una organización sin fines de lucro que transforma vidas a través de la música, utilizándola como una poderosa herramienta de prevención social en Honduras. En UREMU creemos que la música puede transformar vidas. Desde hace más de 10 años brindamos educación musical gratuita a niños y adolescentes de comunidades vulnerables en San Pedro Sula, Honduras, ofreciéndoles un espacio seguro donde aprender disciplina, trabajo en equipo y esperanza. En octubre de 2026, 41 estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de viajar por primera vez a Buenos Aires, Argentina, para participar en un intercambio cultural y musical con orquestas juveniles. Durante 10 días recibirán clases maestras, ensayarán y ofrecerán conciertos representando a Honduras. Para muchos de ellos será: Su primera vez en un avión Su primera vez fuera del país y la primera vez que verán que la música puede abrirles oportunidades en el mundo. Para hacerlo posible necesitamos recaudar L 500,000, que cubrirán hospedaje, alimentación y transporte interno para 41 estudiantes y 5 docentes. Cada donación suma: L 280 cubren una comida para un estudiante L 500 apoyan el transporte hacia ensayos y conciertos L 6,000 financias 10 noches de hospedaje seguro. L 12,000 cubren los gastos básicos de un estudiante durante toda la estancia Muchos de estos niños provienen de comunidades donde las oportunidades son limitadas. At UREMU, we believe music can open doors that once seemed impossible. For more than 10 years we have provided free music education to children and teenagers from vulnerable communities in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In October 2026, 41 of our students will have the opportunity of a lifetime: their first international trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they will participate in a musical and cultural exchange with youth orchestras. For many of them this will be: Their first time on an airplane Their first time leaving their country and the first time they see how far music can take them. To make this possible we need to raise L 500,000 (around $18,000 USD) to cover accommodation, meals and local transportation for 41 students and 5 teachers. Every donation helps: $10 provides a meal for a student $20 helps with transportation to rehearsals and concerts $270 helps fund 10 nights of safe accommodation. $500 can sponsor a student's entire stay Many of these children come from neighborhoods where opportunities are limited. Through music, UREMU gives them discipline, confidence and hope for a different future. Your support helps them see that their talent and dedication can open doors around the world.
