My name is Miranda, and I’m reaching out for support as I navigate a life-changing diagnosis. I was recently diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), an extremely rare autoimmune disease that is often misdiagnosed for years. I was one of the lucky ones—my diagnosis and treatment began within three weeks of my first symptom. This all began as the new year started: I was first hospitalized on New Year’s Eve and spent two weeks in the ICU after being airlifted to Oahu from my island.

 Before this diagnosis, I was training as an aspiring Ironman triathlete and working on my first book, which is set to be released this summer. Suddenly, everything changed—NMO has taken away my ability to feel anything below my sternum, making walking extremely difficult and forcing me to stop training. Because of these challenges, I am unable to work, and my mother has stepped in to provide full-time care and cover all our bills. The financial strain has been overwhelming, and we’re doing our best to adjust to this new reality. The funds raised here will go directly toward living expenses and medical bills that insurance won’t cover, helping us get through the next few months as we find our footing.

 Through it all, I believe God is going to use this story in an amazing way. I am taking things day by day, holding onto my faith, and facing each challenge with a smile and as much optimism as I can. Your support means the world to me and my mom. <font color="#333333">Hi everyone, I’m starting a fundraiser for Jon Monge. For those of you who know JP, father of 3, he is an outgoing, charismatic character who loves to play sports and dance. On Saturday, June 24th, he was involved in an accident that left him with several fractured vertebrae and unable to feel anything from his chest down. He was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Norfolk General in Norfolk, VA where a neurosurgeon was called in to perform a surgery on his spine and repair the vertebrae and ruptured discs. His first surgery was in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 25th and will have to undergo a second surgery for the placement of rods on Monday, June 26th. He is currently in ICU recovering and will be there for the next several days. He’s trying to remain in good spirits and still has his funny personality. JP will have to endure approximately 12 weeks of intensive physical therapy, while in the hospital, in hopes that he will regain muscle movement in his legs and feet. For now, the trauma team is unable to know for sure if he will regain any movement, and only time will tell, but we are hoping for the best possible outcome. Being that he was airlifted to Norfolk General, we are expecting the medical bills to be substantial and any donations are greatly appreciated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support for our family during this extremely difficult time. </font>

<div>After many months of increasing pain, it's been discovered that there is a large chocolate cyst, and multiple tumors within the reproductive organs. While likely not cancerous, they nearly doubled in size in little over a month-- causing unimaginable pain daily. The pain disrupts her ability to work without interruption at work, be physically active on free days, and even eat and sleep.

It was originally the size of a small orange and is now about the size of a big mango. It continues to grow at a fast rate.)

<div>Her doctors said that these need to be removed soon, along with removing the entire left ovary. A surgery procedure was scheduled for the end of September but may have to be pushed sooner, and the expenses will be tough to gather on one's own in such a short amount of time.

<div>In short, I am raising funds on her behalf to cover her medical needs. The money raised from this campaign will be for Lex's medical expenses, including surgery and aftercare, and to help with living expenses during the recovery period, along with whatever costs for transferring costs.

<div>6月から体内の謎の痛みが始まって、今までの人生に一番辛い痛みです。怖くて早く病院に行きました。超音波など色々検査を受けて、大きいチョコレート嚢胞と子宮の腫瘍が発見された。手術が必要です。一応、9月終わりに手術の予約入れましたが、この間痛みが続きながら仕事行かなきゃいけません。２週間前ぐらい、痛みが突然さらに強くなって、薬飲んでも落ち着かなくて、本当に怖い状態になったので職場のHRさんが救急車を呼んで病院のERに運ばれました。病院でまた超音波検査を受けたら凄くショックでした: 1ヶ月半ぐらいでチョコレート嚢胞が75%ぐらい大きくなりました。手術で外すまで、毎日大変な痛みが来る可能性が高くて、ドンドン悪くなると言われました。

<p>My name is Stephanie and I worked with Arthur at Yamato's Japanese Steakhouse in Gainesville FL. Arthur passed away sometime Friday night August 20th 2021. Arthur had no family or siblings. His parents and grandparents had passed years ago due to cancer or other health problems. Since there is no one to claim him and put him to rest. At Yamato's Japanese Steakhouse we was all family and was the only family he had. As this is very important to us as a family and I pray that to all whom read this if you have it in your heart anything would be helpful for the proceeds for his funeral. And any remaining funds will go towards National Children's hospital for children with cancer. This is non-profit this is for our friend and our family thank you.
