This fundraiser is for a remarkable nursing student who has shown incredible resilience and determination in the face of adversity. At the beginning of this year, she lost both her job and her home, becoming homeless while still enrolled in her nursing program. Despite these overwhelming challenges, she missed only a handful of classes and maintained an impressive GPA ranging from 3.1 to 4.0. Her dedication paid off—she graduated and has already secured a promising position as a registered nurse. Unfortunately, due to the financial hardships she endured, she now owes $10,000 to her school. This debt is preventing her from receiving her letter of completion, which is necessary to take the NCLEX exam and officially begin her new career as an RN. As her clinical instructor, I have witnessed firsthand her commitment to her patients and her passion for nursing. She is an outstanding clinician who deserves the opportunity to move forward with her life and career. I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping her overcome this final hurdle.
