<div>We are on a mission to celebrate and revitalize the rich cultural heritage of the Kasaï region in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our journey began with Natisas deep calling to reconnect with his roots, explore the culture, and support the people of Kasaï by looking at their heritage from a new perspective.

<div>What we found was a society in transition - somewhat self-sufficient, resilient, and largely untouched by globalization, but lost in its essence. Colonization has gradually eroded the cultural roots and traditional knowledge that once shaped their identity and pride. People have forgotten where they came from.

<div>As we traveled through the cultural heart of Congo, the challenges were clear: the roads are non-existent, infrastructure is minimal, and opportunities are scarce. Since the government doesn’t seem to care about these communities, meaningful change has been slow to come. Yet, we believe the answer lies in one powerful force—art. Art and culture are the catalysts that can inspire change, ignite pride, and bring a new vision of the future to life.

<div>The youth, in particular, hold the key to this transformation. By celebrating their heritage, we aim to empower the next generation to honor their roots while embracing innovation and creating a path forward that respects their traditions.

<div><strong>Our Vision and How Your Support Will Make a Difference</strong>

<div>In 2025, we will organize a local festival in Kasaï to bring together village chiefs (community leaders), local artist and artists from Kinshasa as well as international visitors, to celebrate and share their cultural heritage. This festival will serve as the foundation for a larger movement of cultural preservation and empowerment. These people never had the chance to experience a festival and the benefit it has on personal and communal growth. In addition to music, performance and art, the festival will be a place to share ancient skills in crafts, a contest to wear traditional clothing in an original way, natural hairstyles, and many other things to strengthen pride in heritage. We plan to bring state-of-the-art light and video installations to ignite inspiration and hope for change.

<div>But this is just the beginning.

<div>Our vision extends to a global stage with the creation of a documentary that will be showcased in Paris and Berlin, to raise awareness and inspire action on a global scale.

<div>To ensure long-term impact, we also plan to make follow-up visits to continue building relationships and supporting ongoing cultural initiatives.

This money went straight towards people in Congo for school fees, family support, food, permits, compensation for everyone we filmed and photographed, travel expenses for of a lot of people and many other things for weeks. Congo is more expensive than Paris. We realized that as much as we want be generous, we can't do it alone. It has become way bigger than us and what we can afford.

<div>* $18,000 to create and exhibit the documentary in Paris and Berlin.

Empower Congolese Communities through Culture and Art

Hi lovely people, <br /><br /><br />My name is Charm, a trans woman from Brasil, currently based in Berlin, Germany.<br /><br />For the longest time, I’ve been in a battle with my body dysphorias and as a trans woman of color in a foreign country (not always very welcomed by its system, culture and people) I have faced a very hard path within my private life (often homeless/financially unstable), especially in regards of my transition.  <br /><br />On my journey in Europe, I’ve been so lucky to be held by a community of strong and enlightened angels that kept me focused and alive for this whole time, inspiring me through this experience and making me who I am today. I’ve come a long way to be this open about such private matters and can say I’ve worked hard to be able to financially support other aspects of my transition but this next step requires money I don’t have; so I’m here, reaching out and asking you all for help:<br /><br />I have dedicated the last 3 years to my transition and recently understood I’m ready to take the next step: <strong>I NEED SURGERIES!</strong> and <strong>ITS URGENT</strong><br /><br />It became a dream and a solid commitment to free myself and allow myself a true life, one that I can be accepted, embraced and feel safe in my own skin and everyday walk on the streets. I can assure you all that, to live with dysphoria and all the triggers around it, and have to deal with the views of a cisgendered and binary lens sometimes, is indeed a very harsh reality to be assigned to, but a beautiful journey of unveiling and standing besides your own choice towards freedom, which I’m so proud to be on and welcome you all from today forward. <br /><br />I've been medically transitioning and self-medicating since January as I, unfortunately, have little to no access to the health system here in Germany. Every step of this journey is made harder and it ends up costing even more because of that. So I decided that travelIng back home to get these surgical procedures will be the best for now. <br /><br />Beginning HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy)  was a huge step!!! and now I look forward to the next chapter of my transition!!! <strong>This fund and these surgical procedures is survival to me.
