Moxie is my 11-year-old Terrier Mix dog, my best friend, and truly my whole world. I adopted her when she was just 6 months old, and we have been inseparable ever since. She is such a sweet, loving soul, full of goofy energy and so protective of me. A few months ago, I noticed something was wrong when she was going to the bathroom outside, so I took her to our local vet. At first, I was told it was a UTI, and I hoped medication would take care of it. But when the problem came back a couple of weeks later, I knew I needed more answers. After another vet visit, an ultrasound showed a slight blockage in her bladder, and I was referred to a specialist in LA. A month later, after a biopsy, I got the heartbreaking news that Moxie has inoperable bladder cancer because of where the tumor is located.
Moxie has started chemo and has been doing fairly well, and I am so grateful that she still has her sparkle and puppy energy most days. But the cost of her ongoing care has become overwhelming. Your support will help me cover her chemo treatments, vet visits, medications, and extra food to keep her comfortable when she is picky or not feeling well after treatment. I want to do everything I can to keep Moxie happy, comfortable, and surrounded by love. If you are able to help with even a small donation, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for caring about my sweet girl and for supporting us during this difficult time.
