She survived. And because she survived, she believes it is her mission to ensure no other person ever has to face an assault of any kind. while walking, hiking, or running on public trails or parks. <br /><br />Safe + Happy Trails is planning to place emergency posts, each equipped with a distress button and surveillance cameras, every quarter mile or less, along public trails and paths, and also plans to have surveillance drones flying the trails throughout the day, which can also set off a distress signal if a person in need of assistance is unable.
