Their questionably legal strategies have thus far included an ex parte restraining order against citizen journalist and YouTuber Reckless Ben, and other quasi-legal threats.

Recently, The BAM Map has become BAM Franchising Inc.'s latest target. The company has been granted leave via an ex parte order granting expedited discovery to file subpoenas attempting to unmask the anonymous operators of the website.

CONFIRMED

The attack will not go unanswered.

However, mounting a legal defense against a company determined to crush all opposition, even self-admittedly legitimate investigative journalism that exposes astonishing business practices worthy of public scrutiny at any cost is expensive.

BAM Franchising, Inc. seeks to punish those who have brought this truth to light.

INFERENCE

BAM Franchising Inc.'s frantic, baseless, and escalating attempts to extinguish the light is possibly indicative of the fear their officers face when confronted with the truth.

Thank you, sincerely, for your continued support of that light.

Help The BAM Map Defend its Freedom of Speech

Dear friends and kind supporters,

I am now organizing Phase Two of this fundraiser on behalf of the Frolov family: Yehven (Eugene), Natalia, Demitri (Dima) and Tetiana - who came to the US to escape the war in Ukraine and desperately want to remain here and not be deported back.

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has already donated and shared their story. Because of your generosity, over $6,000 was raised and they were able to cover the first stage of filing fees — and there is wonderful news: their 5-year-old son Dima has been approved for re-parole! This is an incredible relief and a huge step forward for the family.

However, the process is not over yet. The parents’ and grandmother’s cases are still under review. Once they receive final approval, they will need to pay the required government re-parole filing fees — $1,000 per person ($3,000 total for the other three family members), as established by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in its official federal fee schedule (8 C.F.R. § 106.2). And of course, more attorney's fees.

The family is doing everything they can. They are working hard and contributing as much as possible toward these legal costs. But these immigration fees are very high and they cannot manage the remaining burden alone. Note: these fees were not required when the Frolovs came to the US in 2024 - so these fees were not anticipated and budgeted by the family.

If you are able to help — whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser — it would mean so much. Your support is helping this family stay together and hopefully establish a stable and secure future in the US.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and continued support.

Phase Two: Help Yehven's Family from Ukraine

UPDATE: Since this fundraiser went live, STRJ has distributed an additional 1200+ doses of emergency contraception. Over 50% of our distribution for the entire year has happened since SB8 took effect.

SB8, the most restrictive abortion law in United States history, has now gone into effect in Texas. The sheer cost of abortion makes is out of reach for many, even under the best circumstances. Now, the situation is dire. The people who need the most help will experience the most hardships under this law.

South Texans for Reproductive Justice serves some of the most impoverished counties in the nation, and we're working hard to help people have control over their reproductive choices. So far this year, our organization has given out over 1000 doses of morning after pills to people across the 8 counties that comprise the bottom tip of Texas.

And we give it away for free because a lot of people can't afford the $50 it might cost to personally go and buy it at a pharmacy.

When people receive a package from us, they get:

2 doses of emergency contraception

2 pregnancy tests

Condoms

Lube

Information about consent

Information about sexually transmitted infections

We don't ask for specifics. We don't need immigration status or reasons. These are roadblocks that stop people from accessing the help they need. We trust people to make their own decisions.

We expect the demand for free emergency contraception to rise in the wake of SB8. Please help us raise $10,000 to meet the expected demand.
