My name is Lupita D, and I’m reaching out because I’ve fallen behind on all my bills—gas, water, electricity, and medical bills—after not receiving my social security disability and experiencing a slowdown at work. On top of the financial stress, my health has taken a hit. I’ve been battling pneumonia and kidney infections, and my blood pressure and potassium have been dangerously low. Paying for all my medications out of pocket has made things even harder, and I’m worried about what will happen if I can’t catch up soon. Every donation will go directly toward catching up on rent, utilities, and medical bills, as well as buying groceries—I haven’t been able to buy any since November. My dogs are also part of my family, and they’ve missed some of their shots, so I’ll use some of the funds to update their vaccinations and make sure they’re healthy too. I have a truck, but I can’t drive it right now because I can’t afford insurance or gas. To everyone who supports me and my dogs, I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.
